Thank you for replies to my (reading related) questions.
The question of: "Are you a person who lives life, and a person who observes your living of life?" I don't have recollection of observing my life. But it sounds like an interesting idea. ~~~~~~~~~~ As long as it wasn't a form of "self-judgment." As long as it entailed just observing/looking on. No "shoulda' done this'es or shoulda' done that'es."
I *am* different personas, at different times. (The sweet, grandmotherly one... The swear-like-I'm-in-the-Military one... The only-want-warm-cozy-quiet surroundings one... The passionately political one.. Etc. Etc. Etc.)

I'm not familiar with being an *observer* of my life, though. Although now that the idea has been introduced, I will probably start to experience it. (I tend to soak up suggestions, like a sponge. Which is sometimes good, and sometimes not.)

I'm such a slow learner! We can access/download old pics, from our Picassa Albums, right when putting pics in our posts. Just click on that line, on the left of the putting-pics-into-posts box, and Voila! They pop in.

This above, is an old photo of mine, from Autumn of a year past. And now I wonder where I put those fake berries??? They didn't pop-out when I opened my Autumn decorations! Harrrrrrrrrrumph... Did I lose them??????

Like I lost our pretty Angel Tree Topper. Lost last year. Found a week or so ago. Tsk, tsk, tsk.... But! She is found! :-)

You miss-place things like this too, don't you?
Don't you?
Don't you???
Please say you do!

Those leaves in your header perfectly match the wallpaper. You didn't plan that did you? Yes, yes, lose things all the time and find them sometimes years later or, worse, after I've already bought a replacement. Oh well. I will be organized one day perhaps.
Thanks for visiting Muffy's Marks. Holy schmutz, I think we're sole sisters. Were you a native American in one of your past lives. No I'm not on drugs, OK Maybe High Blood Pressure pills. Love your blog,
I 'lose' things all the time!! Usually I 'find' them......somewhere. I wish they made 2 year planners. I try to write in things ahead of time. For example - in the spring when we take the electric blanket off and store it away - I will flip over to October and write WHERE I have stored it! EXCEPT I apparently forgot to do that this year and like to never have found it!
I love the electric candles in your window from last fall. My kids call these 'Mom's THOUSAND points of light!' I have at LEAST a dozen.....they are in every room of my house year round. I LOVE little lights!!!
Oh!!! Good MORNING!! Hope you have a great week!!! I am already looking forward to this weeks posts from you. ALWAYS an interesting read!
Lately, with all that's going on,my mind is so pre-occupied that I am losing things all the time. And doing silly things like going into the freezer for something that is in the microwave. I sure hope that now all is settled things get back to normal. Signed the lease this morning.

Hi Auntie!
Wow - your header is so pretty this morning!
I'm kind of an "observer" of my life - my past life has a lot to do with my present life. Is that observing? I try to learn from past mistakes (it doesn't always go well... :0)). I try not to look back with too many "what if's", just learn from them. I too have a few different personalities that seem to surface at different times! Maybe I should say different sides, not personalities, I think we all have them. I'm not pretentious - and I don't like pretentious people - what you see (and hear), is what you get!
Not looking forward to those icicles!
I lose things on a daily basis - something I'm working on . . . it kind of scares me!
Thank you for asking about my sis! She is doing well - not back to work yet, but getting better day by day!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Barb
Oh yes. I put things in safe places and then can't remember where the safe places are!
Lovely photos.
Hi Auntie - "second" what Barb said about observation leading to learning from one's mistakes! I try to be an observer, but sometimes my mouth gets in the way. ;)
Now, yes ma'am, I am guilty of losing things. Rather, I NEVER lose things, just put them in safe places - safe from ME! So don't feel bad - looks like we're in good company!
Oh honey, if ya had any idea of the things I misplace 'round this place!!! No...your sooo not alone.
Precious lady, you are quite the talented photographer!!! I'm just in awe!
God bless and have yourself a fantastic week :o)
You certainly aren't the only one who loses things, I do it quite often! lol I'll remember that I put it away so it will be safe but then I forget where I put it!!!
I think I'm too busy with my life to have time to observe my life as well! lol
Oh yes, very naughty of you to put up that picture of the icicles! lol Touch wood but we still haven't had our first snowfall although where Steve lives (3 hours away), they had their first snowstorm last week. Told him to keep it over there!!
In answer to your question on how I was able to lose 24 lbs in 3 months...just not eating in the evenings and between meals, having smaller portions and lots of water!! I still eat what I want for my meals and even have dessert once in a while, just smaller portions:-) I could never follow a strict diet, those have never worked for me. xoxo
