Insert on Fri.--->I did get new Header.
But since it's an old photo, I can't make it proper size, to be centered.
But at least, it's more clear. :-)

Of course, if I had NOT gone over to New Editor Templates, I'd not have this issue at all. My original (Frosted Old Rose) photo fit there, perfectly. 'Twas easy to make any pic of mine, fit. But oh no, I hadddddddddddddd to change. LOL... So ME...

Here I just went through the process of learning to NOT NEED more Readership/Comments! And they are trying to sell me on some scheme, to do just that.

Once, but then I am very good at reporting that junk as "junk" so my email filter catches it.
So is your photo set to 950 pixels wide? That should be the right size for a header pic. If you don't want to have the vertical size go as large as a 950 wide would take it, you'll have to do some judicious cropping.
It's a beautiful, brisk morning and I have just returned from the landromat where I had hoped to wash the comforters. Dang machine ate all $5 and gave me not even a swish in return. Now I've got to call the town office and see whom I can call to get my money back. Right. I know. It's gone.

I never mess with my header size, I tried once and it was disastrous! I just stick to the same old thing . . . I think that's called a stick-in-the-mud!!
Yes, I have gotten a couple of e-mails like that - I just junk them. Maybe I need to take my e-mail address off of my blog?

Go into blog Design, click on Advanced, click on adjust widths...try changing it from there...

I have started getting more and more of those emails and I just delete them and put them in the Junk folder. I guess it is some sort of spam:-(
I always make sure my header is 900 x 450 as that seems to be a perfect fit. I use Paint Shop Pro to adjust the size of my header and then add it to my blog. I wish I lived near so that I could help you out with all of that, just so hard to try to explain everything by writing it down, then it never seems to make sense! lol

Nope....I get an occasional spam but I mark it as such. Seems like they come in spells!
I will visiting my writer/editor daughter soon and she will fix up my blog for Christmas. I do not know how to do anything but post. I like it that way. I am bad about 'drive by clicking' so it is best if I leave well enough alone!

And I enjoyed everyone's blogging comments on setting up headers. I've played around with mine a few times (sometimes with disastrous results). It was nice to know how other people do things.
