♡Un-grumpy... Un-grumpy... Un-grumpy...

OK, I'm trying to not sound so grumpy.  -grin-

It's silly to be grumpy, just because I didn't have any inspiration for a new blog look, yesterday.

It is harder to find something to take pictures of, when the weather goes cold.
So, I simply grabbed some of my oldddddddddd photos, from my Picasa Album.  :-)

"November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.

The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring."

I think this might be a grumpy day. I'm leaning in that direction myself. We don't have to be up to par everyday.

Hi Auntie!

I was a little grumpy this morning too, especially when I looked at the thermometer and it read 15 degrees - brrrrr! I love the look of your blog, you are always so creative - the frosty rose is beautiful! Your pictures are just lovely, I like the idea of pulling up old pictures - I'm sure you are like me and have so many that I have not used before . . . ;0)

The poem about November is so nice!

Hugs,
Barb

That frosty rose reminds me of the song "When the snow is on the roses..." or some such thing. It floats back to me on a vague childhood memory.

Your kitchen table looks very cheery to me. Are you baking gluten free bread to enjoy that jelly with? I'll be by directly and most especially if you'll put the kettle on!

Hi Aunt Pixie! Don't be grumpy. Surely there is something wonderful going on in your neck of the woods! Why, just go look at pics of your little Gabe, the baby angel!

Frost on the rose - very fitting for November. It's in the mid-upper 70's today here, but will turn cooler tomorrow with possible showers. Most of Texas is still under a burn ban, but we're hoping with some more rain we'll be able to have an outdoor campfire soon! NEED fires in the fall to have Smores and hot dog roasts! AND we've got lots of dead wood to burn this year!

Ahh sweet Auntie how I love to visit with you. Love the frosted rose! Adore it!

just finished The Hidden - LOVED IT! It was a perfect ending. Any other recommendations like these? Send 'em my way!

Thanks for you kind thoughts. Been trying to add you to my reader so that I can get updates, and I don't see a followers button. What's a girl to do?

Enjoy!

The wind is howling as I write tonight! Into the 30's which is a big deal for us in Texas! I have been painting in our bedroom and am leaving the door open to the wind so it will dry FAST! It is amazing the difference in the areas where we live!!

Whatever you post I LOVE to read!!

I think November is a hard month to blog since there's not that much going on...well except for you Americans who have Thanksgiving later on this month:-) I know I'll be struggling to think of what to blog about! lol

That pie and preserves look so scrumptious and your picture of the frosted rose is simply gorgeous. xoxo
