♡Got *hooked* & rock sculptures... ,-)

Guess what magazine has (probably) hooked me?  :-)

But Grrrrrrrrrrr...  My pics will NOT show up, cropped and lightened.  They show properly in my iPhoto Program.  But when I try to put them in my post, ONLY the big, dark, original versions come up.  -pout-  Bahhh-humbug-   I know, I am the only one who cares.  But I do care!!!!!!!  I only want to show my *best* pics.  -sniffle-
OK, I'll *get-real*.  ,-)   Just don't have time to fiddle around any more, with this issue.
Late in the day yesterday, we had 2 "brown-outs".  Our electricity did not go ALL OUT.  But my surge protector made noises, and my computer turned off.
Still don't know the cause of the "brown-outs" , but.......
It took some *doing* this AM, to get my computer going again.
I'll just be glad I have a surge protector,
and the "brown-outs" didn't fully *fry* my computer!!!!

(Grrrrrrr...  Again...  Original un-cropped pic, posts.   Grrrrrrrr...)
Look at this cute wee-little-tree we saw on our walk.  I have "Pop" and "Grand"
stand beside it, to show how tiny it is.

(Grrrrrrr...  Again...  Original dark,  un-cropped pic, posts...)

The little rock sculptures are still in-tact.  Good.

(Repeat Grrrrrrr...  Again...)

"Pop" started a new one, with Grandson and Granddaughter watching.
But the *pickers* were catching on her jacket.  :-)

Got 2 books from the library, and one looks as if it will be a great Brit Cozy Mystery.  I'll talk about it, if I like it.

And then, Gabe came over to see the "train go round-and-round."  :-)
And I took an adorable video of him, telling how the train goes "Round and round and round and round" with arm movements.  But!  -sigh-  The ding-dang video takes forever to load onto my post.  I stopped it....
Knowing that no one else would take the time to let it load.  It shows fine for us but...........   Again, "Auntie/Nana" isn't techy enough to figure this out.  (I have before though, so this is even more frustrating.)  Oh well....

the photos look fine to me. so stop with the grrr and groan. you did a great job. that little guy watching the train is so cute. since we have brown outs and i leave my computer on all day, i have it on battery back up, so when the power flickers it does not shut the computer down. computers do not like being shut down like that and it causes moocho problems.

I understand your frustration with your pics but they look just fine from my seat. Sweet memories for the new year.

I, too, like the photos 'as is'. Can't wait to hear if you like the new mystery!

Yes, we must do as our family wishes. Understood.

No, you are wrong, Auntie. I always need to be reminded to "choose joy." It is not natural for me to be anything more than melancholy on any given day. I must choose daily, sometimes hourly, sometimes more than that!

It's always fun to stop by here.
I think your pictures came out good but understand how you feel.

I always love your photos. You've seen mine. Not even half as good as yours.

I KNOW!!! Families! Mine do not mind photos, though. And I try not to EVER write ANYTHING that would embarrass ANYONE......except maybe Louis Dean!!!

However, I DO have to keep my mouth SHUT about some things I would like to SAY!! Like announcements and such. SO I am staying quiet about some exciting news until I have freedom of speech once again! So......shhhhh!!! Don't tell! (I keep telling myself!)

The "tryst-stane" again - wondering about that tryst....

Aw, heck. I was hoping for a video of little Gabe. Come on, Auntie - I know you can do it!
