♡Got to get new cord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrr... ,-)

♡♫♡♫♡♫♡♫♡
We are narrowing in on the computer-Net-hookup issue.  Seems to be a cord which runs from my computer to an important *box.*  The plug does not stay installed tightly anymore.  So, we're going to take it off, take it to a store, and get a replacement cord.
This black screen isn't *earth-shaking,* but it's a *pain-in-the-neck.*  :-)
It seems to be acting up again...  My pics won't post in correct form, etc.  So I'll grab some pics from the Net, quickly post this, and let it go...  'Till we get out later, to try for a replacement cord.

Finished reading "Rules of Civility" by Amor Towles.  Interesting.  Nice counter-point to my *wilder* YA reading.  Back cover says; "Armed with little more than a formidable intellect, a bracing wit, and her own brand of cool nerve, Katey (Kontent) embarks on a journey from a Wall Street secretarial pool through the upper echelons of 1938 New York City society in search of a brighter future."

It kept me turning the pages, so I recommend it.

And I just found another intriguing suggestion, "French Lessons" by Ellen Sussman.  It's in my local library, and I already put a hold on it.  Via the Library Net Site.  :-)
Computer just keeps going to black.....  Getting off, to save my sanity.
Hope to get new cord later.

Ta - ta...

if your screen is still black, you will not be able to read this, but on the off chance it changes back to readable, here i am to say I have a love/hate relationship with my computer and it is things like this that drive me crazy. hope the cord works when you get the new one.

Oh if all problems could be as easily solved...

May the cord be found easily and I hope it doesn't cost too much.

I have a bad 'blue' cord! When I took Christmas down from the sewing room I had to clean around my desk. I moved the 'router' to dust and then I lost 'connection.' Ugh! I hate that! I have CLEAR on my laptop so I get TWO chances at Internet. Anyway.....I wiggled things around until I got the green light. No more dusting, I guess!
