.♡. Troubles again...

~*~*~

My computer-connection-to-Net *troubles* continue.

Now my monitor screen is getting darker.

Probably due to my turning it off and on, to regain use.

So........  I am NOT WHINING about this.

I'M

JUST TELLING YOU,

SO IF I DISAPPEAR FROM PRETTY BLOG LAND...

YOU CAN FIGURE WHY.

AND NOT WORRY ABOUT ME....

my monitor did that 2 weeks ago, not once but twice, look for the way to reset it to default. i found mine in the menu at the bottom of the monitor, a button, it was crazy hard to do, but it did brighten it back up.

No, you may not leave blogland. So find your brightness button and punch it!

It's not even the full moon anymore!

Well, do whatever it takes to fix your monitor cuz we'd sure hate to lose you, Auntie! Besides, it's Valentine's Day tomorrow!

A Happy Valentine's Day to you, too!:-)

Physicians normally go by symptoms presented. J had an EKG in Dec, that showed everything fine, he has blood work once a month to make sure that is all working fine, as per thinners. Cholesterol is checked once per year. J's family has high cholesterol no matter diet or exercise. My cholesterol has been pretty good considering I am a chubby (fat)G'ma...however, I tend to lean toward a vegetarian diet...where Jim is a carnivore through and through. My diet does not mean I won't have heart problems as that is something in my DNA.

He had a checkup in DEC with no symptoms, so that was fine. The first real symptom was when he passed out in Jeff City almost two weeks ago. He said he did not feel bad until about a week before the fainting spell and he thought he was just tired as we are preparing the house to sell and have been very busy.
Truth be told, you can drop dead of a heart attack with no prior symptoms.

He passed a stress test with flying colors, in the Jeff City hospital, two days after the fainting episode.

A sure fire way to check for clogged arteries, I believe, is the cath and that is invasive and can be fatal if something goes wrong, so until a patient presents with a problem, they are selective about that test. Jim has had several caths with no problem. There may be another way to check arteries like ultra sound which they were going to use for Jim's carotid arteries. Doppler is what they would use.

So my best advice is...listen to your body and if anything is out of the ordinary, have it checked...especially in these elder years as new things are happening all the time.
We were relieved to get back to STL and J's own cardiologist of 25 years. He knows Jim like a book.
