I love showing pics I've taken, of lovely old mansions and pretty regular sized houses, in my city.
But I don't want anyone to think, that EVERYTHING is *purrrrrrrfect* in my city.
So I show today.... Examples of The NOT So *PURRRRRFECT*, in my city.
Please...
Be prepared!!!!!!

SEE...?
Not EVERYTHING, in my city, is lovely...
And I didn't want to give the false impression, that everything is.

But I will now return, to showing the most pleasing to my eye.

This is the first time I've ever had to shrink the page to see it.
Okay, you've proven your point, but don't a lot of those homes have potential if the owners had some cash to work with? I'm afraid that nearly my entire town looks this bad.
Some have potential...some not. But when it all boils down, they are all somebody's home. There are stories hidden in the walls of all of them, some boring, and some very colorful.
i love that first one and would love to have it and give it a face lift, i prefer a house like that than the big pretty ones. i love old frame homes and log cabins. i also like the brown wooden one.
I'd love to get hold of that first one and fix her up. I can just picture what she would look like with a little...or a lot...of renovation.

I think all of them just need a little TLC, but in this day and age, so many people just can't keep up. I prefer not to see the shabbiness, but to think what a sad life some of those people must have.
Peace,
Muff
My choice would be that first house, "Auntie". The others need some work. But that first house has charm just waiting to be re-vamped!
I enjoyed seeing these homes, too~~~
I'm with Sandra - I would love to redo that first one!
Auntie I've seen worse and right here where I live! The Mayor started a tear-down campaign, and most now are gone...oh, they were dilapidated! Nothing compared to these you've shown here.
I think most of us have houses like these in their cities/towns. I know we do!! The first one could be charming with a little TLC and paint. :)
I actually like that first house. It reminds me of Casper's house. :)
I'm with Sandra and Linda...love that first house...I see potential in all of them....I had to shrink the page to make it fit...
Hello there, Auntie - Hey- we all have the not-so-pretties in our towns, too. The ones we wish the city would tear down.
Then there's those cute ones like your first picture that just need someone to come and bring them back to their former glory.
Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!
Not so great now, but they all just need some TLC and would be beautiful.
