It's into Autumn............... And now the Pink Tuberous Begonia is popping right up, and blooming. ,-)
And a humid and misty day, it is. The *singing* bugs of summer, are *singing* away! They probably know, this weather can not last long...
Do you have family or friends who are deployed in the Military?
Have they gotten the chance to Vote, yet?
We know one in the Middle East.
As of yesterday, he had not yet gotten his papers, to Vote.
Ask around... Ask your family/friends with loved ones deployed in the Military...
Have they gotten their papers to Vote yet?
What does this say about our government?
Deployed Military, being allowed to fight/die, but not to Vote?

We're having the same dreary weather here in NJ -- yuck. I'm ready for cool fall days.
Peace,
Muff
It was hot and humid here yesterday, but today it is windy with that wonderful autumn chill in the air...loving it!!! Bring it on! I love, love, love autumn!!!
I also love your photos, Auntie and tha gorgeous autumn header!!!
Autumn Hugs,

We've been having such gorgeous weather over here but today it's cloudy, drizzly and 59 so it feels more like Autumn now! It was so foggy this morning when I got up, I couldn't even see across the field.
You still have so many beautiful flowers blooming, everything is done over here. We've had frost on a few mornings two weeks ago so that killed off whatever was in bloom.
There's still a month left before your elections, no doubt the military deployed in the Middle East will get their voting papers soon:-) xoxo
No family in the military, but I've read of the latest gov't blunder about not getting ballots to our service people yet. I'm getting cynical in my old age, so I think I know what that is all about. What a shame, they should make sure they get to vote before anyone else!! I loved last night's debate, btw! :)
Your flowers are so pretty. And I love that gorgeous header photo!
It is so humid here. It took all of my fall joy away. Hopefully autumn returns soon.

they should be the first to get their ballots...without them where would we be...unfortunately I think that is what someone wants...love your header...
Lovely mums...lovely misty morning. It's been way too misty here.
It is my fond hope that all military men and women will have the opportunity to vote. They lay their lives on the line for our freedoms and they certainly deserve to have paperwork arrive in time. (This is an ongoing problem...a thirty or more years ongoing problem.)
My son is in the Air Force, and so is our nephew's wife. Thank God, they are both stationed here in the United States again, for now. Truthfully, the last time I spoke to either one of them, there was so much so talk about, I didn't think to ask them about the voting situation. I will try to remember when I talk to either one of them again. Last December my son was scheduled to be deployed to Afghanistan, again. It was getting near to deployment time and he called home. He said, "Mom, it looks like I'm not going to be deployed this time.." relief flooded over me, I was so happy, and then he continued, "the dentist found a tumor in my mouth, and I'm going to have to have surgery." Right then my little roller coaster of happiness went straight down hill to the bottom. Well, after surgery, it turned out that the tumor was tiny and totally benign. However it took a while to heal and it did keep him from deploying to Afghanistan, again--this time. Who knows where he will go on his next deployment coming up in late winter or early spring. I wish the politicians who are deciding who, when and where we are going to fight also had their sons and daughters facing multiple deployments. I think they would think differently about things if they did. Sorry, I'll get down off of my soap box now.
I do not think it is right they can not vote,,,with all the technology in this world they should be able to come up with some way. I do not think we will see any hot and humid misty days any more here in Michigan. Your flowers are lovely.
Late checking in today! It's my bedtime!
We don't have or know anyone in the military....I surely hope the papers arrive in time for voting.
That little bee is happy among the mums.
My sister is an air force reservist but home now. Did 2 tours in Iraq but we have other friends in various branches. God Bless'em
