♥ Some updates, for the fun of it, while I still can... :-)

...
Oct. 29th...  02:00PM...    Winds are picking up.

Wind and rain bands heading toward us.
...

Barometer falling, falling, falling.
...
With last wind gust, I got that feeling-on-my-scalp, like I get when a thunder storm is near.  There isn't any T-storm, but I guess I'm getting that, from what's outside and what's coming.  Energy Babe, Energy...  ,-)
...
Clothing has been washed.   Last dishwasher load is doing now.   Time for a nap.  ,-)

I have been thinking about you as I have been watching the news today. I'm trying to 'place' where you are. NY I think? Where ever.....sounds like you're as prepared as you CAN be for something of this magnitude!

hope you don't get anything bad... thinking of you and all the others up there in the path.

Just keep your dress down Auntie and you'll be fine as frog's hair split four ways!

I just spotted your beautiful witch's hat photo at the bottom! Gorgeous witch you make - I think you should wear it all the time!

Fare thee well, sweet lady! HOpefully, Miss Sandy (the hurricane) won't be the witch she's being made out to be!

Lots and lots of rain here and very windy too. The worst of the storm in my area will be over night.
I wonder if I'll be able to walk in the morning? : ) Ken came home early from work and is taking the day off tomorrow. He will probably tell me to stay home. If he does I'll listen to him, so don't worry. : )

I don't know where you got that map, but it's not telling the whole story. There are bands hitting us now from the ocean. The Isle of Shoals (Southern Maine) is reporting 22 foot waves and 75mph wind gusts.

Thinking of all of you in the direct path of this thing. It appears to be a widespread storm.

I took a nap this afternoon when John was out...a great way to spend some time without watching the trees bowing and the rain coming down sideways. Now it's a big blow and the front door sounds as if it is going to get sucked open.

As you'd say..."courage"

Thinking of you and Uncle A; stay safe and let us know how you are when you can.
