♥ Tues. entry... Kinda' short... :-)

What can I say?  A little pile of wet leaves...  That about says it, for our Monday weather.  Warm, humid, rain on and off...   The Weather Person isn't saying this.  But my Barometer has been saying it...!  It had been way, way HIGH.  And then, came the plummet, and it's still falling.

Quite naturally, I got a headache this/Mon. afternoon.  Took some Tylenol and closed my eyes.  Stayed there, much longer than I expected.  'Twas that kind of a day though....  Rainy and made me want to close my eyes.  Luckily, I can do so.  Without lots of duties, hanging over me.

Not much pic-taking today...  So here is my old Header, in my post.  And the "New Moon Effect" has hit my Header.   Grrrrrr....    Usually I can put up a big, un-sized pic, and the Shrink To Size will shrink it, to a nice wide regular looking Header pic.   But!   Every now and then....   Something happens....  And Blogger will only Shrink it, to a way-too-small-size.  The alternative is a way-too-wide-size.  -sigh-

I know, I'll probably have to check my Width Settings and etc.  All my Settings actually....   But it "gets my panties in a twist", to have this *all of a sudden* happen.   Or so it seems.  -Grumble, grumble, grumble-

Dear Readers were wondering how our 'Grand' managed to break his arm in a couple of places...  He and a friend were playing 'King Of The Hill'  in the playroom in their cellar.  :-(  That's all I know.   -sigh-

King of the Hill! I might have known. ☺ Hope that he is recuperating well. I broke my arm once. It was a long and involved affair. Still is all these years later as I have pins holding the mess together and, on rainy, cold days, it aches. May he have no need of pins! I think we all need to learn how to fall properly or so John says.

It's looking very cozy in here. I like the soft browns and the beautiful header. That said, it'll be outta here tomorrow morning.

Don't you just love fall leaves. I find the lawns look so pretty covered with them. Wish people didn't rake them up...

I used to love raking up the leaves into huge piles then throwing myself into them. Then, doing it all over again.

My sons are past the age of those games and I have no grandsons, so I have not idea what King of the Hill is but I imagine it has to be some kind of rough and tumble sort of thing.

Your first photo is extraordinary; I love the light and all the textures!

For us turkey is more of an 'every day' meat since it's fairly inexpensive and healthy and with 3M being Scottish Thanksgiving is not a big deal to him, much less the traditional sides. Every year I have to 'bribe' him with a new food experience. Ah well, it keeps me on my toes.

I really admire your header photo! Beautiful!

I've been grumbling at blogger myself lately. I can't figure out why it changes font sizes on me when I'm posting...among other things.

Hope the mending of the arm goes smoothly!

I like your new header; very appropriate for the season.

I had a Monday headache too - and also blamed the weather for it. Ibuprofen and a VERY hot bath at bedtime solved the problem. What would we do without our OTC analgesics? :)

Gorgeous photos as usual - we're having rain too. (But we need it, so that's okay.)

Hope Grand heals quickly. :)

I hope you are feeling better by now. I miss those days of just going to bed when I wanted - even if it was the middle of the afternoon! Those days will come again - and then I will miss THESE days!

When I looked at your picture of the rainy day wet leaves I could just feel Fall. Sorry about your grands arm, hope it heals quickly. When my son was young, he broke his wrist doing snowboard tricks. After I don't remember how many weeks, it healed and the doc took the cast off. Within two weeks, against my wishes, but with my hubby saying "Oh, he'll be alright", my son went out on his bicycle. He broke his wrist again, in the same place, doing bicycle tricks. Ooo boy, did they ever hear I told you so. His wrist healed again and I think he started being a little more cautious, maybe.

I adore leaf piles...and I hate it when little people break arms or legs. OUCH...
Sure hope it heals completely and quickly.
