Than be unprepared, and NEED it.

Glad that all is well...all is well here, too.
glad you made it through okay! of course my roof leaked but not too bad so far.
Praying all my blogger friends on the east coast, have good reports as you did. Glad all is well. Carry on as usual!!!
each year when the first hurricane turns up we put all these supplies in a cabinet and they stay there until Thanksgiving, then we start using them up until the next hurricane season.we believe in the being ready to
So glad all is well with you. Sounds like you were as prepared as you could be.
Happy to hear all is well with you. Fine here too but those winds were a bit scary.
We were blessed to hold onto our power. This morning I am dealing with my emotions. I often talk of wanting to leave and move to the country, but, this is my city, and it has been destroyed. My heart goes out to those who did not make it through as intact as I have.

I am so happy that you and Uncle A. are alright, Auntie. Preparing was just what you needed to do. My heart goes out to all of those whose lives were touched by Sandy's destruction and to the families of those who lost loved ones. Such a tragedy. Thank you to all of the caring and wonderful people that are there to help...you are all heroes.
I'm so glad you're okay...yes, I worried for you, 'tough old gal' or not.
My heart goes out to all those who were affected by Sandy.
Glad to hear that all is well with you today!

Relieved to hear all is well with you and your home...that was one nasty storm.
So glad to read that you are alright. You have been on my mind. My heart goes out to everyone whose lives have been turned upside down by this storm.
Oh yes, Auntie, as you say, it's better to be prepared and not need it than needing it and not being prepared!! Good to hear that all is well up your way. We've been having high winds and some rain/snow but that's all, thank goodness!!
Since today is Halloween, here's a little poem for you...
This is Halloween
Goblins on the doorstep,
Phantoms in the air,
Owls on witches' gate posts,
Giving stare for stare.
Cats on flying broomsticks,
Bats against the moon,
Stirring round of fate-cakes,
With a solemn spoon.
Whirling apple parings,
Figures draped in sheets,
Dodging, disappearing,
Up and down the streets.
Jack-o'-lanterns grinning,
Shadows on a screen,
Shrieks and starts and laughter--
This is Halloween!
Happy Halloween, dear Auntie, and make sure you come by my blog today for my Halloween Bash and see what costume I dressed you up in! hehe xoxo
Glad you are safe!
Awesome. Glad to hear you made it though. Hurricanes are no fun. Neither are the tropical storms.
