Wednesday... My Pumpkin Pie, and below is my Apple Pie. Oh the pressure! Of making pies, when they have to go to a Family Thanksgiving Dinner Gathering. Oh the pressure! -gigggggles- Yes, I know. It's family. I know. But I really, really, really wanted my pies to look gooooood, as well as taste good. Sooooooooooooo.............
Pressure! Pressure! Pressure! ~~~~~~ So, by the time Son and "Grands" and a "Grand-Friend" (who is like another member of the family by now) came over to help "Pop" made the Stuffin' (Wed. evening), I was collapsed in my recliner... Covered with my puff... Tilted back and ready for a nap. :-)))))))
Since I have transformed my blog, into a more Christmas-y Look, I'm putting up a couple of last pics, of the Thanksgiving decor. :-) This pic is taken over-a-lamp, and of the reflection in a mirror. I can't soften my pics, in an even way. I just use the mute-the-edges thing which comes with my computer.
I know! I know! I am going to try to get one of those
"Do-Fun-Things-With-Pictures Things". In order to mute a photo, evenly. I will. Eventually. Perhaps have
my "Granddaughter" (home from college) DO the installation for me. 'Cause I tried to download one of those "needed-things-to-view-videos"... And got stuck. (-sigh- I am hopelessly tech challenged!) But the younger generation has been born, with the Techy Gene already "installed" in them. :-)
Addition: When Son came over to pick up the Stuffin' on Thursday morning, he did *The Magic* needed, to install "the-needed-thing-to-view-videos"! Hooray!!! Where I had been stopped, by one step in the process....... He just kept on going, and did it! Hooray!!!

From our trip over to the Apple Orchard Store... A wall mural... Which is pretty cute. ~~~~~ Below mural, is the accumulation of "stuff," behind the table where the cash register is placed....
Here are our 2 *Grand-Puppies*... :-))) At our son's house, where we had Thanksgiving Dinner. 2 lovely black Labs and hardly "puppies", any more. 'Summer' on the left and 'Maggie' on the right. You can tell them apart, since 'Maggie' has a curlier coat, than 'Summer.' Waiting in the Kitchen... Just in case some bit of cooking, might fall to the floor. Just in case... Just in case... Just in case... :-)
And here is Gabe, making a quick "retreat" to his sister, on the couch!!! ,-) 'Summer' loves to lick ears. -giggggles-

Hi Auntie, your pies are lovely. I wish I could remember to take pictures of the food 'before' we eat it. Somehow I never think of it...
Oh your pies are enviable! Mine looked nothing like them. In fact, I didn't make the traditional pumpkin pie and wish that I had as the alternative just didn't cut it.
adorable babies and wonderful dogs and beautiful pies, oh my...I can tell you had a great Thanksgiving.
Love the Christmasy background and header!

Hello dear Auntie:-) I'm finally taking a break from the baking, chocolate making and decorating, to spend some time visiting my dear bloggy friends! Love the Christmassy look in here:-)
Your pies looked absolutely delicious! I know how worrisome it is, though, when you're making something to bring...that's usually when it doesn't turn out! lol
Enjoyed all the pictures and so glad that you got to spend such a lovely Thanksgiving with your loved ones:-) xoxo

Your pies are beautiful - works of art!
I love labs. I'd like to get a couple more one day.
What gorgeous pies!
And what large puppies those are - "mobile floor cleaners" is what a friend of mine calls them. ;)
I have not seen such pretty pies....I finally had some pumpkin pie a friends made. It was good but not pretty :) I had a black lab for 14 years named Sam. She was a wonderful addition to our family. Loved by everyone. I look forward to your Christmas decor. Dee
