Try... Please try...

I'm trying to write a post.  I am.

Especially since I thanked all bloggers who continue to try to put Joy of the Season, on their blogs.

Darkness wants to envelope us.

But we need to go on, and live our lives, and seek Love and Light and Joy.

Because if we let Sadness and Darkness of Spirit, engulf us...

Then Sadness and Darkness of Spirit...  Win.

And I know none of us want that.....

So, I will post just this....

And hope it will be a little bit of Joy of the Season...

And hope this one blog entry, will cancel out a tiny bit of the Darkness...

The Darkness of Spirit, which so wants to conquer us.

Pray for those left behind, in this horror...

Send strengthening thoughts and wishes and whatever you, yourself do...

And at the same time, try to keep Peace, Joy, and Love wrapped around your heart.

Gentle hugs to you, my Dear Reader.

Well said, Auntie, as you say life does go on even after such a tragedy and we must not let it take us over but instead learn from it!! In my heart I grieve for those little children and adults whose lives were taken needlessly but then it makes me realize how short life can be and that we should enjoy each day to the fullest. Letting darkness envelop us isn't the answer...we must keep the light shining bright in our lives. xoxo

This post definitely did bring some joy auntie. It's always so hard to know what to say in times like these.

Love how you end your posts with 'gentle hugs.' That's what we need....now and always!

We all handle this kind of thing in our own way.
Our happiness is shadowed with sorrow and, of course, we will all go on...here in Blogland and in real life....but not today....maybe not tomorrow...my heart is too broken for the victims and their families, as everyone's heart is. There is nothing wrong in crying...and remembering...
There's plenty of time for things to get back to normal...whatever that might be. I am working on it...I've composed several posts regarding the Christmas season but I can say my heart is not in it.
