Poking in the snow, for the 2nd newspaper... It came later. We had expected that one or both, would not be delivered this morning. But as you can see, we didn't get THAT much snow.
Beautiful sunshine has been shining for a while now... "Now"... being near noon-time.
Back yard, shot from inside dirty patio door windows... ,-)
Just for fun....... Sunlight through the Hearth Room drapes...
Thank you so much, for your sweet comments, concerning the Nor'easter. I'm very happy for those Dear Readers who got the storm, but are still with power and can post. And I am still concerned for many people, to the south and east of us. In hopes they have power!!!! And are warm!!!!

Very pretty winter pics!
Oh MY!!!!The picture under your header!!! I have never seen anything like it...the cold snow on the left and the inviting light on the right! And the drapes with the light coming through, so beautiful! And I just saw your post below, wonderful night shots, with little bits of light here and there, they look charmingly old fashioned in a way, almost like period pieces. You DO know your way around a computer!!!
Love to see how it is in a region with snow. Never thought about the fact that you would have to "look" for your paper under snow. Just never thought about it.
Lovely photos of the snow...
Hugs,
Jackie
Auntie...these are such wonderful winter snow photos, each one beautiful in its own way :)
I'm happy that you received a fresh blanket of white but not the terrible storms and winds that others were unfortunate to get hit with.

Auntie, The header photo is great. I can see you did enough snow to shovel. I have been taking to my husband about, where would you put the snow if you could shovel out 2-3 feet of it. Our street department hauls all the snow from town to the big parking lot at the swimming pool, near our park. Hope your sunshine keeps going to help melt the snow. Stay warm and safe. xoxo,Susie
The snow looks so pretty with the sun shining on it.
Ken is using Word Press because he wanted to have a .com name of his own. I told him blogger lets you do that too but as he said in his post today he is stubborn. : )
i love the bird bath piled up and the view with the heart inside.. and that is a super pic of your hubby. glad you did not get more than you got and got at least one news paper
looks like a lot of snow to me....glad your still with power...love your heart wreath on the windows...
Hope that he found the paper! We certainly didn't get the thirty inches they got in Portland. Thank goodness! The wind was the story of this storm and the length of it.
yeah not as much as they said, but still enough to be a pain in the rump. No power out though, so that is good.
Beautiful photos! I'm so glad you didn't get too much snow and still have power, etc. Yay!
How much did you get total Auntie? I would love to go outside and play in it all day!!
I love to see the sun on the snow...so bright and cheerful.
It looks like a lake just beyond the trees in one of the first pictures. Do you live on a lake? love the photos
