Showing the pretty geode again. This time with pencil/hand, to better show size. I always forget to do this!!! Have something (whose size is recognizable) in pictures of objects. Must remember!!! :-)
The "Honey Man" at the Sat. Farmer's Market. I figured it is time, to start taking a daily spoon full of locally produced Honey again... To try to ward off some of the coming effects, of Spring Time Allergies.
This is the first time we have been to the Winter Farmer's Market. It is held in a grade school and there is plenty of place to spread out, in the gym (above) and in the entrance hall.
There were lots of veggies... But... Fresh ones are not being grown locally, in winter. And a place like "Gomez Veggie Ville" does not sound very NE Local to me. ,-) But.......... Whatever...
They even had live music, on the stage. :-)
After having soooooooo much funnnnnnn, reading (click-->) "The Wee Free Men," I was not having any luck, finding another book. -sigh- I didn't enjoy the Cozy Witch-y book, I got out of the library. And other Cozy Mysteries, has sounded good, but were soooooo slowwwwwwwwww.... I gave up on all of them. So took a bunch of *non-winners* back, and got some more.
Actually, "A Witch In Time" is my own. I really enjoyed this series by Madelyn Alt! But this one was not in the library system. ????? So I got it from Amazon/New/Used/Books. After I finish this one, the next in the series IS in my library system. (But not the last, in the series...) Grrrrrr...... After following this heroine for 7 or so books, I MUST find out how her *story* ties up!!!!!! :-) Will do another Search for the last book, when I'm done with ones I can get.
Have you heard of "The Blue Zones"? Another one of those studies, trying to find the Longevity Secrets, of pockets of very long lived people, around the world. Such books should be read, by young people! Who have time (ahead of them) to take better care of their bodies. ,-) But since "Quality Of Life" is part of the premise, not just living many years.... Seems anyone might find something of use, in them....
For instance, how to better avoid gastro issues. Yikes, betcha' most any Dear Reader could use some info, on that wide spread and painful problem....
Just a very green looking shadow pic... :-))))))))))

I really need to watch Once Upon a Time. I hear it's a great show. And I haven't been to a farmer's market in ages! I need to go to one.
i always forget to do the size thing to. i love the photo of the pencil, a patriotic pencil and the photo makes it sharp and clear and also puts the quartz in perspective.
Yes, I am enjoying the program you mention. I should write more in an email.
Yay for local honey! Couldn't live without ours.
The veggies look very nice no matter where they come from! I'm currently looking for some nice sweet potatoes.
Yup I'm good at forgetting the size thing!
If you loved the Wee Free Men have you read all Pratchett's Tiffany Aching books, and the Bromeliad Trilogy (Truckers, Diggers & Wings) ... brilliant! There's no one quite like Terry P. :D
I would love to go visit that market. So many goodies. I wouldn't know what to choose. Hope spring weather is finally coming your way. We've still a ways to go over here.

Yeah taking care of ones self should be done, read a lot of it now under my sun. And Once upon a Time is grand enjoying it at my land.
Auntie, enjoyed your pictures of the market. I'm reading the Madelyn Alt series too. Read the first one on Nook, and got the rest in paperback. It's not one of my favs, but it's a good *night* read. Sheila Connolly has a new one out that I enjoyed very much - "Buried in a Bog".
Great photos. You have either a very good camera or a steady hand. Ha
I usually take in one farmers market a week. I especially love them now, in the spring when they have the plants and tree for sale.
I see your post on Pat's rhyme post.
I started watching Once Upon a Time through Netflix and still waiting for season 2 to come out but I love the show.
Thanks Auntie, for your emails! : )

Good Morning, Auntie!
Lots of wonderful photos here again! I usually forget to add something to show the size of the main subject :)
I have never watched "Once Upon a Time", but I will look into it. How ironic that I just changed my blogs name to "Once Upon a Time"!!!
I am also going to check on the Madelyn Alt books...they sound very interesting.
Love your new header photo of darling little Gabe! He is so cute!!!
Hugs~~~
The market photos are nice. looks like a fun thing to do. We have a free farmer's market here in our town...it'll open up for business in April. You can take anything there to sell as long as it's made or grown in the county. xoxo,Susie
I'll be glad when the farmer's markets get back in full swing here. I need to find some local honey as I've been reading about the health benefits of honey and cinnamon. It's certainly worth a try.
Haven't watched "Once Upon A Time", I'll have to check it out. I've been getting bored with the computer lately. Maybe it's just spring fever and I want to do something different.
