"Oh look Class, another Lesson!!!" :-)


Big area of storms here, last night.  We lost power but it was restored, in a few hours.

Today, Heat Wave!




Organic fruits and veggies, ready to Juice.  You can see pear, asparagus, orange, leaf greens, cucumber, red apple, sweet red pepper, a tiny slice of ginger, and celery...  Basically, you can put in it, anything you want!  :-)  Just making sure that you have enough of the WET items, to give liquid.  WET items are apples, pears, cucumbers, celery, etc.

Most of the time, the Juice Drink comes out quite green, and isn't all that appetizing looking.  -grin-  So but this time, I put sweet red pepper in it, and turned it a bit to the reddish side.  It kind of looks like Iced Coffee, to me.  :-)

They taste good, and are so good for you.  Since the chopping has been done for your bod.  And all the good stuff, gets quickly into your bod, to start doing good things for you.

Why not just eat all that stuff?!?  BECAUSE WE NEVER DO!!!  ...  :-)  Do you?  Eat lots of servings of fruits, veggies every day???

We use a Juice Drink for Lunch.  But if we want a bit of protein too, we have it.  No hard and fast rules!  Other than, only put organically grown food into it. 

Oh and...  It is not hard to clean!  

We Juice...  Put ice cubes in our drinks...  Get the main left-over-stuff off the Juicer parts...  Have Juice...  Then wash Juicer parts in hot, soapy water and put on a towel, to drain dry.   

How freakin' hard, is that?!?!?!?

Don't eat fruit at all, but tons of veggies at my hall.

We're having a heat wave here as well. The city gets pretty sticky in this kind of weather.

We really DO eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Usually one meal a day is SALAD! And a salad FULL of all sorts of veggies and even some fruits. We do our salads like you do your drinks - LOTS of different things!

I am squeamish and could never drink that; however, I could cheerfully eat it. I see what you are saying about nutrients getting to your system quickly. I'll just let my system have the joy of juicing. Ha!

Well, Auntie, I eat my veggies every day - at least five servings, plus fruit. I had greens and broccoli slaw for lunch, and I will have a big salad with lettuce from our garden for dinner! Every morning I have a banana for breakfast. It is much more satisfying for me to chew than to drink.:-)

I do have a question, and if I weren't lazy I could probably google it, but I have blogs to read. :) I'm wondering about fiber. Do you lose fiber by juicing these goodies instead of just eating them? I think that plate of food looks yummy! I'd be tempted to just eat it.

I think I'll stick to eating. All those items in one drink mmm not sure. Maybe I'll try it one day.
Since my taste buds are out of whack that's pretty much all I eat is fruits and veggies. I can eat about 3 bites of meat and be done.
