Look! That lace curtain is blowing in the breeze!!!
Open window... No breeze, at present... But... Window is open! :-)
Again!
Another of blowing curtain...
And patio door open!
What's so unusual is... We've been keeping the house closed up, with A/C on, because of the heat/humidity. And as I have said, I get tired of the house being closed up. So on Mon., I took the chance, and opened up, early in the morning.
And it was still open, with breeze blowing even, into the afternoon. Hooray! Summer, the old fashioned way! Summer, the way it should be! :-)
Needed a wreath, to replace the Spring themed one, on the front door. Was going to get a "summer" one. Then thought, why not a Patriotic Wreath, for the whole summer? So I got one, marked down after the 4th of July. -grinnnnn-
But!!!!!! Is it hung properly?

Do you love to look into houses? If you go to a site called Homes dot com, you can type in your city, or area, and find homes for sale. With lots of inside pics. :-))))
Not exactly like a right-there-house-tour. But..... A pretty good facsimile. :-) I found one listed, which is not too far from where we live. And I *took a tour* of it. I'd never be able to do that, otherwise. ,-)))))))
Ever have one of these?
I've been wanting to try a Margarita. Never had one, but I think a regular one, would be too tart for me. Then I saw these advertised. So, I got a package of cans. Hope I like them, since I couldn't just get one. :-)
Report, on following morning...
Nope, I don't like them that much. As is, they are still too tart for me. ~~~ Now I have to get rid of these 3 cans. -chuckle- I'm sure we can find someone, who will happily take them. ,-)

Awwww...love the header photo! And the wreath Auntie! Yes, it's hung correctly...
I live in Texas and I still don't care for Margaritas...

I love love love your kitchen curtains and would like to have these in my kitchen... i have lace valances but not as pretty as these. and curtains blowing in the breeze are one of my favorite things to feel and watch... you did a great job of capturing that breeze . i can almost feel it.
Love your lace curtains. So pretty. Yes, I like open windows better than ac...but I hate humidity. Add some Sprite to your "ritas" might taste better.:) You are clever to get a new wreath on sale. I like it. xoxo,Susie
I can almost feel your lovely breeze gentle blowing through you beautiful lace curtains. I do not like having AC on either but when it is humid it is a must. How did any of us survive before AC LOL I need a wreath...I keep putting it off. Any longer and I will need a fall one. Yours wreath looks nice.
Your lace curtains are beautiful blowing in the breeze! What happened to those summers where we could have windows open? Were they a figment of my imagination?
I think your wreath is very pretty and you can hang it anyway you want to!
Summer with no a/c is just right. That humid crap needs to buzz off.
Your home is lovely, and I adore the lace curtains blowing in the breeze. Unfortunately, we can't open our windows and let the breeze blow through. The humidity is so high that it is un-breathable.
Hugs to you,
Jackie
all of the red white and blue is 70% off at michaels! it poured here all morning and now there is a bit of a coolish breeze! a fall breeze?
I love lace curtains blowing in the wind. Here in the city we live so close together that lace curtains are a no-no...unless one welcomes "Peeping Toms". Of course, I was a "Peeping Tom" when I first moved here. Actually it was because I was new to an apartment building and was curious.

I tried them too..didn't like them either...great photos....
Curtains blowing in a breeze. Very nice. This week is the first week of really hot weather, for this Summer. We've enjoyed the nice weather. Last year all sorts of heat records were set and then there was the drought.
I don't like Margarita's, but I have wondered about the canned ones and if they were any better. I am sure I would not like them either, though.
I know what you mean...house all closed up because of heat and humidity...not normal! Pretty wreath!
Must be the size of my monitor at work, because here at home it fit fine.
We made mango magarita's last week using a mix then added fresh mango. I really didn't like them. I prefer making my own - no mix.
