Guess I'd better ask.... Does my blog, show up too wide, on your screen? If so, when did it begin doing this? Please...
I was just told that mine, is too wide, on one Dear Reader's screen. Any others????
A while ago, one of my Dear Reader's blogs, began to be too wide, on my computer. I mentioned it to her, but guess I'm the only one......
So, I ask here. You are reading my blog. Does it fit your screen, or is it too wide? Please and thank you.

You who are fans of Elizabeth Goudge... Have you ever read "The Little White Horse"? I just saw it here, and it sounds delightful. So I'm getting it, from the library.
Looking out, at our back yard, and beyond... TREES...
Again, looking from Patio, across our little back yard, and across half of my son's back yard, next door. TREES...
Too damn many TREES...
When
we built here, nearly 50 years ago, we could see across a number of back yards, to the next street over. Yes, trees were planted, here and there, over the years. Nice ambiance plantings.
Then! The woman next door, got herself a boyfriend, who "had a thing" for grabbing any old tree he could find, and planting it in her back yard. With never any shaping of them! Just a bunch of scrub trees, which he let grow and grow and grow.
The BF is gone, but his damn trees remain, and get bigger every year. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... I so want my nice, normal view back. -pout-

Found a cute, new-to-me, book blog. Very interesting concept. It's written "by" the characters, in some favorite cozy mysteries. Isn't that a cute and novel idea, for a book blog?????
Silly me, I was complaining about a lot of rain. Hehhhh..... Little did I know, what a lot of rain, could do to my husband's lovely flowers. -sigh-
Do you ever choose to be still? Even for a moment, at a time? I came across a lovely writing, titled "Be Still."
Please take a minute and click here, and enjoy this relaxing post..... Please....

Yes it does come up wide but I just adjust it on my computer easy prays...thank you for that link...Still... I liked it a lot
Auntie, Yes, your posts are wider than my screen...I just click around to read it. I thought it was me...see what I know..LOL. I loved your pictures. Trees are nice, but I understand what you mean about views. I won't plant any trees that block my view of town, five miles away. When we moved here, I cried everyday for about a month...I have always lived in town. But seeing our courthouse keep me from moving right back to town. I am a city mouse not a country one. To trim the neighbor's trees would be costly with them being so tall now.xoxo,Susie
Auntie, I think you know that your blog comes across my screen wide... it covers my whole screen, but I wouldn't say too wide as I can see it fine without any adjustments. I thought you liked it this way. I think that you mentioned that my blog started showing up wide on your screen recently... does it still do that?
Yeah that is a neat idea for a book blog. And yep, it has always been wider than others since i got here. But it fits my screen.
last week Ginny of Let your light shine, told me my blog was to big for her screen and she had to scroll to look at it. i told her to check her zoom tool. she had accidentally zoomed her screen. your blog is fine on my PC and on my laptop
your blog loads slower than others and is wider than my screen? did you get the storms?
When I first began to feel as you do about too many trees, Linds from England told me that they have a law there that says homeowners have "a right to light." Isn't that lovely? You may be getting close or have passed the point where your light is being blocked by all those trees.
I am sad about our latest tree because it was such a nice row of trees. On the other hand, it opens up the sky again. Perhaps the roof and side of the house won't mold so much now. I can hope!
Your blog loads beautifully for me and is wide, but then I have my settings on wide and vastly prefer wide.
Anyone can adjust quickly and easily, if using a PC, by pressing control and the plus (or minus) sign simultaneously.
That is a neat idea for a book blog!!
Yes, your blog is a bit wide for my wide screen, maybe I should check my settings. But, it's never been a problem, I can see everything except a wee bit of the sidebar.
Off to check out the Be Still link now. Have a splendid day!
PS Love your header photo. :)
Yes, it is a bit too wide. It cuts off the pictures in your sidebar. Those hydrangeas are gorgeous.
Mary
That does look like a lot of tree!!
I can see your blog perfectly and its not to wide and I'm on my laptop at the library.
Yes, I do choose to be still. In fact this morning while walking I stopped and was still and listened to the wind blowing through a corn field.
The only problem I have ever had with your blog is the slowness with which your photos load; I think I have mentioned this before, and some of your readers commented back to you that perhaps it was my browser or my internet speed, etc. However, it isn't my browser nor is it my internet speed. I don't have problems with any other blog's photos loading speed except this one. The only thing I surmised it could be is perhaps it's the size of your photos. No problem with the slowness, however. I just wait for them to load. Worth the wait! The physical size of your blog is fine. Like another reader commented, using the control + or the control - keys in combination will enlarge or decrease the size of internet pages.
Hope that you have a good week, my friend.
Jackie
Your blog is about 1/2 of your i=sidebar too wide. I can read your posts just fine without moving anything, and I can scroll over or right arrow over to see your sidebar if I want to.
Your blog fits my screen!
After having our trees trimmed recently - I can tell you it makes a VAST difference in LIGHT!!!
