HAPPY YULE...
And Happy Winter Solstice...
~-~-~-~
Thank you Dear Readers/Commenters, for the warm and accepting reception you gave my post of yesterday.   Thank you very much.  At another time, it would not necessarily have gotten only "hugs," or gently been ignored.  ,-)  It might have gotten some kind-of-nasty-threats-disguised-as-loving-caring.

And also thank you for sharing with me, your tales of hearing more "Merry Christmas" wishes, ring out in our Dear Land.  I decided to change "Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus" into;  "Yes Virginia, there is a back-lash against silly "Politically Correct Speech," going on in our Beloved Country.  And isn't that wonnnnnnnderful?!?!?!

And now, back to "The Yumminess Of The Season", and how we are going to *survive* them!  -giggggggles-    Had another good yearly doc appointment yesterday, but the weigh-in looked *disturbing.*  -pout-  Looked like I had put-on-some-Mrs.-Santa-padding.  So I decided to weight myself in the morning, more regularly.  And to be more careful of "How-Much I eat", even of G/F and low Sat Fat treats, and get back on my treadmill.

Well, low and behold!  This morning!  First thing on my own scale!   I was the same old number.  YES, it is 30 pounds more than I'd like, but it was the same old consistent number that it's been for a long time.  While yesterday's appointment weigh-in was mid afternoon and fully dressed.  Wheeeeeeew...

Also YES, I am sticking to my good resolutions of last evening though!!!  :-)   I know what I am going to make-for-myself, so I won't be thinking *Oh-Pooooor-Me,* when everyone else is eating the usual Christmas candy/cookies.  :-)  It pays to plan ahead.  :-)

"Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childish days; that can recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth; and transport the sailor and the traveller, thousands of miles away, back to his own fire-side and his quiet home!"

"The Pickwick Papers", 1836

You go girl!!! You should be proud as punch.

Heck, I just eat the piece of fudge and carry in a little more firewood. I wear my Hubby's ten pound barn boots to chore in. Then there's the chansin' and runnin' from the wild~eyed cattle...I figure I don't need no stinkin' gym! Heeehehehe!!!!

God bless you sweet one and have yourself a very bright and beautiful Christmas surrounded by the ones you hold near and dear.

MERRY CHRISTMAS YA'LL!!! :o)

Those treats look so good. Last night someone in my building was doing some Christmas baking and that heavenly smell was drifting into my window. Really made me want to do some baking since I now have a better kitchen, but there's no time this year. Looks like we'll be store bought once again.

Wow, loaded right up tonight! Glad you had a good doctor's visit. We won't discuss the weight part, okay? Hope you and your family has a wonderful Christmas. May it be Merry!

Awwwwwwwww, heck. You picked the wrong time to be good. But, Santa will be proud of your stamina and will power. But but.....missing out on all the goodies? It can't wait 'til next week? Heck I wish I could say I was in need of losing 30 ---it'd be nice, but I just know my weight gain is because of the heart meds I'm on. And age....LOL. Gotta put the blame somewhere.

Love all your photo shares today.

Happy Christmas and Merry New Year.
