But Fri. is sunny.  May cloud up later but...

It's sunny now.

Today is for watching Esther Williams old movies, most all day long.

And try to make Elana's Paleo Bread.   Which recipe you can find, by clicking here....  Will mine look like hers, above?  Probably not, but....  I'll try.  :-)

Yes, it's selling Coke, below.  But in a nice and uplifting way.  Found this featred on "The Deepest Well" blog.  Thank you, Aine.

SUN!!!~~~Paleo Baking~~~More sun~~~Books~~~Etc.

Is this frog smiling??????  He ought to be.  We've had so much rain!

When the sun came out on Tues., evening, I had to take pics of it!!!!

Look at that!  Real sun!  Shining into my camera!

And this picture.  Complete with sun spots!!!!

My G/F and sugar free bread... Made in a bunt pan.

And here it is, turned over, with an orange glaze on it.  It makes a very moist and good nutty bread.  ~~~~~   Took some next door.  Per usual, "Gabe" loved it.  ~~~~~     Mommy and "Gabe" just came over for a short visit, and I gave them more.  If a 3 year old likes it, it has passed THE  TEST!  -grin-

More sun-after-rain pictures...

Everything looks just beautiful....

Reflection, of the wild roses, in the pool...

Longer shot...

Do you see that spot of Red?  It's a Cardinal, on a green  branch, against the over-cast sky.

Cropped...

 More cropped...  -grin-

NOT  my  PIC!!!!!!  :-)
But wow!  Anyone who thinks eating Paleo, has to be Icky, well.....  Just look at that pic, above.  :-)

It's a Gluten-Free recipe; Rhubarb Coconut Honey Tart...  Found on "The Kitchen" blog.  Please click here, to go see the entry, in all its *glory.*  :-)
:-)

I enjoyed my 36th book, this year!  I enjoyed "A Killer Read" to pieces!  A cozy mystery of course.  The heroine, the setting, the mystery itself, all of it....  I loved it!  And want to read the 2nd book in this Series.

If you enjoy a Cozy, please, please, please find this book and enjoy it.

By clicking here, you can read more about it, at my "Auntie's Reads 2013" blog.

We all love Esther Williams' movies, yes?  Did you know that Turner Classic Movies is doing a tribute to her?  TCM pays tribute to legendary film star and swimmer Esther Williams with a 24-hour marathon of films beginning Thursday, June 13 at 8pm ET. And running till about 8pm Friday, June 14th.

I love it!  Her films are such a Joy.  Even after all these years.  The color.  The clothes.  The sets.  The extravaganzas.  The hair.  The fun.  :-)))))

First Peony...

I had one bottle of Mead, from my liquor store...  I wasn't too happy.  It was a bit too sweet, or something.  Thought that was the end of my Mead experience.

But!  Read of a local guy, who is making his own Mead.  His company is called The Helderberg Meadworks.  Look at that label!!!  How cool is that, hu?

Click here please, to go to his web site.

Whooo-hooooo...  I hope to have a bottle of his Mead, with which to Celebrate Mid Summer Night's Eve!!!

Poor little Daisys, got knocked down by the rain...

Tues. afternoon, I made my first Almond Pecan Bread.  Which is made in a bunt pan!  It is still cooling, and then I have to glaze it.  Oh I so hope it comes out, tasting good.

Later this evening, I'll take some over next door.  My daughter-in-law is Gluten Free and Sugar Free and Lactose Free, and Juicing too.  And of course, since "Gabe" liked my Paelo Bananan Bread, I have to have him try it too. !!!!

I hope, I hope, I hope it works!  If so, will show pics, in my  next post.

Yes, the poor little Daisys got knocked down, by this rain...

Out front.....  Too much purple in the Wave Peonies.  But pretty colors, in the Begonias.

These just won't quit.  And they make a pretty vignette, with the wild Queen Ann's Lace in front of them.

The 'spent' Poppy...
