♡Gabe -- "Pop" -- The Train

 ♡.♥.♡.♥.♡.♥.♡

Gabriel comes in, lies down on the floor on his *tummy,*
and waits for "Pop" to turn the train on.
It's his little habit.
He is amazingly calm, and not a bit "hurry-hurry-hurry,"
or "gimme-gimme-gimme."
.♥.

Gabe and "Pop"...
Notice the matching red-tops-and-jeans???
NOT planned.  :-)
.♥.

Gabe and "Pop"...
And Yes, before anyone says it, he is losing his curls.  -pout-
And needs a trim, 'cause it's getting in-his-eyes.  -sigh-
Oh well...  We had fun, while the curls lasted.  And we have  pictures!
.♥.

 Gabe and "Pop"...
.♥.

"Pop" made  him, his own little truck.
And he helped "Pop" put the wheels on it.
.♥.

There is the truck, all set.
.♥.
But see the kinda' sad face???
.♥.
 He's cutting more teeth!!!  Ouch...
.♥.
And he's a tiny bit on-the-sad-side.  -sigh-  You can almost see
that his gums are sore, looking at the sides of his lower cheeks...
.♥.
Good thing we don't remember cutting our teeth!!!
♡.♥.

"See, this is my opinion: we all start out knowing magic. We are born with whirlwinds, forest fires, and comets inside us. We are born able to sing to birds and read the clouds and see our destiny in grains of sand. But then we get the magic educated right out of our souls. We get it churched out, spanked out, washed out, and combed out. We get put on the straight and narrow and told to be responsible. Told to act our age. Told to grow up, for God’s sake. And you know why we were told that?......"

Oh, what a beautiful child. He sure loves the train, and his pop. And I'm willing to bet pop had as much fun as Gabe did. Happy Memories made!!

They boys look so good together.

Now all you have to do is get Pop to upgrade to a Lionel Train with the Village, businesses, Crossing Lights and bridges and tons people. You know the one with all the bells and whistles.

I always found a little bit of blackberry brandy as a mouth wash worked well when my son was teething.

Hugs,
Penny

How adorable...I certainly hope that Pop has some stockings just like Gabe's. They're wonderful! This time that they are spending together is so very special. Hope that those teeth pop through very soon. What a great truck, too!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Love little Gabe pictures! Sorry about cutting teeth - that's always tough!

Sweet pictures of Pop and Gabe - I love his little foot swinging up in the air. Hate that he's losing his curls.... be sure when he gets a hair cut that his mama saves a curl. You could have a picture of him framed with a mat and have that little curl lying on top of the mat. Wouldn't that be so cute!

Now, in reference to your most IRreverant previous post - NO, I HAVE NO WORDS FOR YOU EITHER. You just won't do... as my nanny used to tell me...

What a beautiful boy. You know I am dreaming ahead. But poor boy about his teeth. He looks so woeful.

The McCammon quote about magic is perfect. I think about this all the time now, how my James will unlearn the sight he has now, at one week of age. I guess there is no way around it. :(

Auntie, those pictures of Gabe and "Pop" are absolutely precious. Can just imagine the look on their faces as they watched the train go round and round:-) Such a talented man your hubby is, love the truck he made for Gabe. Poor darling, it's a shame children have to suffer with cutting teeth:-( Give him a big hug from me next time you see him!! xoxo

Were Pop's socks Christmas colors too? :D

Love these pics, that child is beeeautiuful!

And yes you can say that about boys (as long as they don't hear you ;) ).

The train looks really fun. We have one going around the tree and it's our son's fave part of the decorating. :)

so cute. is this an old post ... some comments say jan 26th of this year. what happened? did i go back into the twilight zone? you know the music. it's playing now.

i think if something is "churched out of you" you are going to wrong DAM CHURCH. get the hell out. ASAP!! & go to God's Church. i don't think you have to go to a real church building to be in church ... God's where you are & where you need him to be. you know. whatever makes ya happy. enough said. ha. ha!! ( :
