♡Dulllllllllllll... Gotta' LIVEN things up!

♡.♥.♡.♥.♡.♥.♡
(Dullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll)

"Uga-muga-Daniel"...!!!  But it is getting into the dull, dull, dull days of January.
(Does anyone remember "Uga-muga-Daniel" from when their children were young...?  :-) )
.♥.
It's not even cold or snowy, this week.  Just gray, and warm-ish, with water-covered-ice lying about.  And the pretty snow cover, melting slowly.  Uggggg...
.♥.
One might say...  "Great Baking Weather"!  But...  Then you have to consume all that stuff you baked.  Not good.  In many ways.  -pout-
 .♥.

(Dullllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll)

You might say it's a great time to fly away on vacation.  But we don't do that, any more.  I have so many health issues...  Can't eat this and can't eat that...  Etc., etc., etc. that our vacation days are in the past.  -pout-
.♥.
You might say, it's a good time to give the house a thorough mid-Winter Cleaning.
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...  -grin-
.♥.
Curl up with a pile of good books...  But naturally, to go along with the dull, dull, dull days of January.......   I'm finding it hard to find a grrrrrrrrrrrreat book.
.♥.
-chuckle-
Have you  given up on reading this post, yet????
I'd not blame you, if you had.
January is probably dull where you are too.
So why do you need to read about my dull-dull-dull-dull-dull-bitchen' hu?  >,-)
.♥.
But...  Perhaps you have a wonderful IDEA, to share with us....?  With all we who find ourselves in dull-dull-dull-dull-January...?  Ideas?  Do you have Ideas?  How to perk up the dulllllllllllllllllllness...?
.♥.
OTHER than just saying that we should stop the wining, and be happy we are alive.
We KNOW that!  We KNOW that!
We DON'T need to be told that platitude, again.
Please......
.♥.
Something concrete, to dooooooooooooooooooooo.   Something concrete, to put our mind tooooooooooooooooo.  Something concrete, to let us kind of escape into.  The kind of escape, that comes with being totally caught up in our Bliss.
.♥.
Please...
Please share any and all ideas...
Who knows?
If a lot of us, give ideas, maybe there will be one or two, which resonate with some of us?  And wouldn't that be delightful, delicious, and de-lovely?  :-))))
.♥.

(".........And the horse you rode in on...!")

That pic above,
is how I feel about
the dull, dull, dull, dull, dull days of January...
>,-)

Well, I would say that you hit the nail right on the head.
I certainly don't want to rush the month and my life with it away to fast. But I too have has enough and will certainly glad to see spring arrive this year.

Hugs,
Penny

Auntie, see if you can get hold of a copy of The Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. It is a NY Times Best Seller, I believe. The Goatmother just finished it and thought it was so good. She can't wait for the second in the trilogy to come out!

Goodness, Auntie, that picture is startling especially for anyone scrolling quickly through without reading. Yes, that's exactly what I did because I figured your mood about exactly matched my own. Is this catching? Yikes! When you find something that's the perfect answer, let me know. Until then, I suggest crocheting birds' nests.

I felt a lot better today because the ice finally melted and I got to go walking again. For me walking is the thing that brightens my day. : )

I go snowshoeing with my dogs every day. I do about three miles a day and with the amount of snow we have it exhausts me and the dogs! Before the snow comes, I walk with them. It's just part of the daily routine and the dogs love it.
That gets me through the most miserable day!!!
Evenings I knit!

Dull here? Not too bad really I'm making Valentine's and New Baby cards! Our niece just had her baby - yeah - can't wait to smell him. I was hoping that you were going to share about a new book that you'd just read and loved!

Enjoy

How about ............ naw that won't work....... Maybe you should.......... not really a good idea,
OK I have a plan. Go to the shoe department, and mix up all the shoes in the boxes underneath the display. Or you could dye your hair pink. Maybe invite some ladies over for cards, then cheat to win. Oh hell figure it out for yourself, hehehe

Okay, I reading on about the dull days of January [around here they're not quite as boring because by the end of the month, Spring is showing it's newness in our part of the country...it's warm and balmy and the leaves begin to start showing their new green dresses...I love the subtropics]. Anyway, I reading your post and all of a sudden I saw the last image and nearly lost my orange juice in my mouth. Spewing it all over the keyboard. I do know I felt some burning sensation of the citric acid in my nose....

What a hoot. Heck, if you ask me that post you just published made the doldrums disappear rapidly.

My Wednesday post is: UNDER THE SEA

...and I'm back up using the regular comment form again, the reply comment thread stopped working properly, so reverted back to the old style.
