Guess I just HAVE to post something this morning,
to be able to show these delightful illustrations I found.
Guess they are mostly from the 1930's.

Oh my gracious, aren't they delightful???
I love these kinds of kind-of-stylized drawings.
Is that what you would call them??????
♡.♡.♡
Let's see...... Last night I read more in "A Discovery of Witches."
.♡.
And watched "Once Upon A Time."
Hmmmmm, interesting... How the writers are weaving their own tales,
around happenings in Faerie Tales. Interesting....
.♡.
Or.... Don't you like the *new take* on old Faerie Tales?
Does it rankle you,
to see them kind-of-messin' with the old stuff?
.♡.
I don't mind.
.♡.
But I think maybe, some do.
.♡.
Which is fine! We can each critique a show, just as we see it.
And as we wish it would play out.
♡.♡.♡
And this morning (Mon.) already, I've been to see *The Vampires.* -gigggles-
My loving way of referring to the wonnnnnnnnnnderful people in the Hospital Lab,
who draw blood. They do it all the time and they are fantastic, at their work!!!!
And I always praise them for it, every time I have to have fasting blood drawn.
Why not?
.♡.
Don't we all like to hear that we do A Good Job?!?!? :-)
♡.♡.♡

I know this sweet pic (from the Graphics Fairy) won't fit neatly,
as my Header pic. But I love the look of it.
So I think I'll use it as a Header Pic, anyway!!!
:-)))))))))))))))

It's a cold one today, that's for sure. I am finally remembering to watching 'Once Upon a Time'. I understand there is a similar show on Friday nights. Have you ever seen it?
Mary
Ah, Robert Louis Stevenson. Quite a love story there. Yay for you, complimenting the Vampires. Vampires need love too. :)
Love your header Auntie! And I FINALLY watched 4 more of the Once Upon a Times....Now I get it! Its not One story at a time, it's the telling of the ALL with a big finish at the End of the series!
They were good!

O, Auntie....I don't think headers have to be CENTERED...I think you can have them wherever you want. I like your header to the left....and it is, indeed, a precious graphic.
I am working on a collage in the vertical...so it will be on the side of my blog, too.:)) I love seeing all the different headers and the locations of them...I never have liked everything just alike...:)
Oh, and, FYI, Blogger blocks spam from ANY age comments now. :))
Lovely illustrations...so art deco in flavor.
No, it does not rankle me to watch Once Upon a Time because I am always intrigued by the way writers skillfully weave their tales. I'm as interested in the mechanics sometimes more than the story. And if a writer is truly appealing, I begin to think more of the writer himself/herself than the story. I want to know more about the true story behind the story-story. I'm an odd duck.
Hi Auntie
Just popped home for a bite of lunch and then am headed back to work. I'm stressing today so I"m glad that I came by for a quick visit. I need to remember to breathe.
I'll be by later again tonight!

When we were at the movies yesterday there was a commercial for Once Upon A Time. I'm sorry I missed the beginning of the show, but I do have it on my Netflix Queue. One good thing about watching things on Netflix is that we can see them without commercials!!!
Make your header to make you happy. We all just enjoy seeing them.
Such a darling header and of course it doesn't have to be centered, we can put our headers any way we want to! hehe
Yes! I love those graphics as well, they're all so delightful!
I call it the Vampire Labs as well when I go for a blood test! lol I agree with you, it's important to let the people know in whatever field, that they did a good job:-)
I've given up trying to watch Once Upon a Time, I'm forever forgetting about it. Tsk, tsk!
Happy Monday dear Auntie:-) xoxo
the last quote about books fits me to a T. i love reading. I like the header shot to. have never watched any of the shows your mentioned. i have a date with the fasting vampires Thursday. do so hate not having coffee
Your header works fine. I do think everyone liked to be told they do a good job...I know I would have liked to have been told that when I worked.
i hope no one calls the "header picture police", if they do, i will come and bail you out!!
it doesn't fit and it looks great anyway ;)))))
I like old advertisements, signs, postcards and such.
I have not seen the new show to say yea or nay.
Hugs,
Pam :)
hope the vampires didn't take too much blood....
