♡Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

-sigh-  Read 124 pages of a 370 page book, and can't get *that into it.*
Guess it's time to give up.  :-)

"Neverwhere" has a interesting premise, and I'm sure many people have been enthralled by it.  Being a "Best Seller" and all....   But!  I need my *Other Worlds* to be more like the picture above...  Pretty, pretty, pretty...  Even if they contain both the Seelie and Unseelie Courts.

And everyone knows that the Unseelie Court contains malicious, malevolent and evil faeries...  So you are going to be witness to baddddddddd goings-on.
But....
No matter how *icky* be the Unseelie Court folk, the setting just has to be very pretty and magical and sparkly.  :-)  I'm quite hooked-on pretty, I fear.  -grin-

And sad to say, all is not well in the Land-of-Net-Use, yet.  -sigh-

I'm still experiencing bouts of losing my internet connection.  Bahhhh-humbug...
We may have to *give-in* and call in our son's Computer Geek.  Kevin makes house-calls and it's getting to the point, where we need advise.
My box surge protector is olllllllllllllllllld.  Gracious, I don't even remember how long ago I was Net-chatting with a *Texas Boyfriend.*  -grin-  And he talked me into getting one of these big surge protectors.  Very handy in thunder storm season, when the power can brown-out and quit, without notice.  But, like I said, it's old.

We probably ought to disconnect this old one.  Get a new one.  Or just have Kevin hook up all the cords, to the proper places, without running them through a surge protector.
Maybe??????????
He doesn't sell computers, so I trust him, to not simply say; "Time to get a new one."
So far, the computer itself, doesn't seem to be the issue.  It's keeping the wireless connection to the Net, going.

Actually, our son/daughter-in-law next door, had troubles too.   And Kevin just installed a new *something-or-other* for them.  I have no idea what it is, but it does *wonderful things.*  -grin-  Having a growing family, needing school projects done and printed out and etc. .....  They seem to need *wonderful things* to be done, by their *something-or-other.*  -giggles-   Do you have any doubt that I am very, very computer-talk-challenged?  Nope, I didn't think so!  lol.

-Harrrrumph-
It just *went* again.  Just jiggling the connection of the new orange cord, at the back of my computer, brought it back on.   Hmmmmmm...  Wondering if it IS an aspect of the computer itself?  If the ding-dang connection hole is worn out?

Gotta' get him over.

Bahhhhhhhhhh-humbug...
So I stay in Pretty Blog Land, as long as I can.  But my disappearance will be understood.  -pout-
I really should close comments, because....  What in the world can you say to me, other than the same thing, over and over.  That you hope it will be fixed.  PLEASE don't feel you have to do this.  I know you care.  :-)   .........  But I'll leave comments turned on because I do *hate* to find comments turned off, myself.  :-)

My quote below.....  Don't you just love "Miss Anne Shirley"?!?!  :-))))))))
She is so human!

"It's so easy to be wicked without knowing it, isn't it?"
Anne Shirley/L.M. Montgomery

I hate it when my computer does "wicked things" too! Very frustrating. I think also it is your internet connection, call the company and have them come and check it out. Other than that I look forward to seeing your blog, you are a breath of fresh air my friend (o:

Oh I love the stupor that little girl is in just being read to by her mother. Sweet, sweet image. I am not going to tell you that I hope your computer troubles will soon be over. I am going to tell you to get the diggety dog thing fixed because it's useless to wine errr whine. Remember: I woke up grumpy today. =)

It's them gremlins, I tell ya! hehe I would call the computer geek as well, that way you wouldn't keep having to wonder if you'll be able to stay online or not every time.

Of course you know that I love all those faerie graphics:-) xoxo
