Grrrrr... I still have an issue. My cropped pics show up in my iPhoto Program. But will not move into my post, in their cropped form. Only in their original big, dark form. I'm beginning to wonder if I need a new iPhoto Program...???? My OLD iMac still does what I want it to do (with its new orange cord). But... Perhaps this Program needs an update? Will have to look into this. 'Cause posting pics, is one of my fun things.

Did you see? "Dallas" is coming back? -grin- With "JR", "Bobby" and "Sue Ellen" I guess. And the next generation. ~~~~~ Will it float? ~~~~~ If so, what does this say, for the 'mood of the times'? People trying to recapture the feel of those years, perhaps? Not the Greed. The 'FEEL GOOD' feeling...?
"...the Reagan Revolution, which aimed to reinvigorate the American people and reduce their reliance upon Government"
In the midst of our present recession-depression-what ever you want to call it? When our leaders tell us that "We are to blame." That "We have lost our gumption." That "Everything must cut back", and "Throttle back" (space program),
and that
"We are a lesser nation."

Guess I got this, just in time, hu? ,-) A membership in the NRA. (I obviously put a black line over my real name...) A Christmas present from my next-door son and daughter-in-law. :-)))) Have a hat and a bumper stickers too! ~~~~~ No, I don't own a gun. My *tribe of Damn Yankees* up here, are not into fire arms. -grin- But others are! And I so, so, so, so, so want to shoot a gun! Do target practice. ~~~~~ And with me, it's never say never!!!

Ohhhhhhhh the beauty, of the quote below!!! More wishful thinking, for me.
Oh we are COLD up here. But no snowy slopes.......

"The night was clear and frosty,
all ebony of shadow
and silver of snowy slope;
big stars were shining over the silent fields."

Dallas brings back the good old days of television for me. There was Dallas, Knots Landing, and Falcon Crest. Couldn't miss a one until...a prior engagement forced me to miss the number one Dallas of all time...Who Shot J.R? Yes, I missed that episode. LOL!!

Thankyou so much for the wonderfull quote of winter .The funny thing is though that it has been snowing ever since.Life is lighter !!
Really? Dallas is coming back? I had no idea.
Lovely capture of the full moon all nice and round and high in the sky...
Hope that you get your opportunity for some target practice. We have a shooting range not too far away, but it's never been one of my goals. Perhaps I should Stretch?
Yay, for Dallas! Who is that with Bobby and why couldn't they get Victoria Principal to come back too? :( Probably too busy with her skin care line. The Goatmother spent time as a reserve police officer. Outshot all the guys. No desire to pick up a gun again.
Would you believe I never watched Dallas when it was so popular? LD bought some DVD sets and I have seen a few seasons now. I am excited about the NEW production! South Fork is a tiurist attraction and I have been there years ago for a 4th of July celebration. Filming the new series will be good for Dallas.
And guess what my maiden name is? Ewing!
I didn't miss an episode of Dallas...loved every minute of it. Not fond of "second time around" shows with new stars, tho. I probably won't watch it....but, as you say, never say never. :))
Mr. Obama and his crew are HEADING OUT OF DODGE, I think. I really think we will get him out....the only trouble is, I am still not sure just who I want in. Any will beat what we have now....I am just a tad bit uneasy of all we are offered right now. I like a little about all but..........
I had never watched Dallas when it was on all those years ago, just never cared for those type of shows even back then:-) I'm sure the fan following they had will be thrilled that there's going to be a new generation Dallas coming out, though!!
I think we should all learn how to use a gun, especially in this day and age. I've never even held one! lol My dad was an avid moose hunter while I was growing up so I was used to seeing his shotgun but that was it. I hope you do get to go target practicing soon:-) xoxo
never watched Dallas, no time and always came on after my bed time. now with our trusty DVR i can watch whatever whenever. I learned to shoot a rifle when i was 8, and love shooting, practice shots no killing of precious animals. or not so precious humans either. but i do love to fire our pistol and the rifle i love. don't do shotguns, hurts my shoulder from the kick. we dont have anywhere to shoot now, so have not done any since 2002. i miss it but refuse to pay to go to a range.
Hi Auntie, I like your spunk, I mean that as a compliment! Your photography looks pretty good to me, but I know how you feel about wanting to do better. You might enjoy the 5-part series of "Growing Your Blog". It was an excellent online seminar Jan. 2-6, 2012, by 5 terrific bloggers and I found it extremely helpful. The 4th lesson was on photography and there were lots of tips and helpful info. Check out "Nesting Place", "Thrifty Decor Chick", "Tatertots and Jello", "Miss Mustard Seed" and "Censational Girl" for the back posts of this great series! Good luck! I'm your newest follower today! God bless you!

DALLAS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITES. I don't own a gun and most likely never will. I have always been scared of them. Maybe what you need is a new program to do your photos.
Hi Auntie, I forgot to tell you that I love your quotes!
Also I am excited to hear of the return of "Dallas" I loved Miss Ellie and Pam, and I enjoyed putting my feet up and watching it with my hubby every Friday night after we had put the kids to bed. It was a nice weekend ritual for a young harried housewife, a little escape! Suppose it was silly, but not as bad as today's crazy shows, like the Bachelorette and others that I won't even watch. Be blessed!
I was living in Puerto Rico some of the years Dallas was on and have only watched a few episodes of the show.
Too bad that your images are not showing up as you want them to in your blog post. But I must say that one of the moonlight....it's awesome.
And target practice? I see nothing wrong with owning and using a gun. It's respecting what they are used for and not being smart enough to KNOW its purpose. We used to shoot clay pigeons each and every Sunday after the huge noon time meal.

Hmmm...the only thing I really remember about Dallas was watching it while I was in labor with our Fireman and him being born right after it was over. We never really watched it at home - the one nurse really liked it.
