♥ "...but scarcely any wit." ,-)

UPDATE:
Because inquiring minds want to know...  :-)

What is a medical recliner?

Had one since I first hurt my back.  By now, I'm on my 2nd one but...  They are the same.  Made specifically for a short person, so it fits-in-the-right-places.  Has unlimited positions (Ahemmm, get your mind out of the gutter, Girls...  -grin-)  and an electric button, to smoothly move it.
Yes,
it can take a couple of seconds, to get from comfy-to-read position, to can-rise-from-chair position.  NO, no one is allowed to "crawl off the leg rest"!!!!!!  Good freakin' grief!!!  What can be THAT important???  Why in such a hurry?????
Let
the answering machine answer the ding-dang phone!!!
And
remember to visit the loo, on a regular basis.  Not wait till one must RUSH to the loo.

-grin-

"Uncle A." has been having great fun, watching the beautiful light show, which has been going on in the evening sky.

Venus looking the brightest, and Jupiter, less bright.  They have been doing a lovely *Dance* in the western skies.  Just beautiful...  Have you Dear Reader, been watching their *Dance*?

While sitting in my medical recliner, with ice pack on my back, I had fun reading "Midnight In Austenland" by Shannon Hale.  It was fun and I now have her "Austenland" out of library.

When I did a post, about Angela Lansbury,  Dear Readers commented that they had the whole series, on DVD.  Well, that got me thinking...  And looking, on Amazon...  And ........

And...  Before I knew it, I had clicked on *Buy With 1 Click* or whatever it is, and look what came in the mail...  -grin-

My back is better, but I still have to leave the computer chair, when 'it' tells me to do so.  :-)  So I am less, in Pretty Blog Land.

So tell me what a medical recliner is... Does it massage your back? Heat it up? Cool it down? We have Nan's recliner that was an automatic. Now let me tell you that it is a problem if one finds herself thus reclined yet one must wait to be lifted from it as it does its slow, slow, slower speed of getting to upright. It may explain why Nan used to crawl right off the end of the thing. I was sorely tempted myself.

No, I have not been watching any sort of dancing in the sky, though last night out with the dog on her final outing of the day, I did wonder. Geesh, I might have some sort of theme going on.

Stay healthy, Auntie!

Yes, I have most definitively been watching Venus and Jupiter dancing the nights away in the western skies.
What a spectacular show nature provides if only we look up once in a while.

Hugs,
Pam :)

I was just reading about the dance of Venus and Jupiter on the way to work this morning. Wish I had that kind of view. So glad you posted these photos.

I have back problems too and even though I had surgery in 2000 I still suffer agony at times with my back. Auntie, I do believe that you and I are kindred spirits.

Ah, yes, been watching Venus and Jupiter ... when there aren't any clouds anyway. I think the 1st season of Murder She Wrote is my FAVORITE!

If a medical recliner can make you rest a bit easier without having to stay in bed - I'm all for it!!
Bet Amber wishes SHE had one! I have always heard that backaches/injuries are the most painful. Use whatever resources are available to help.

I have done a little sky watching this week. Not much. I am down south and LD is at home. Normally we sit out with a glass of wine before bedtime and enjoy the night - sights and sounds. We will have some catching up to do when I get home!

I know.....me too. The night sky has been spectacular, hasn't it? So, so beautiful. At least when it's not overcast. March has been an awesome month for star gazing [and planets]

About your chair...now, girlfriend, you know ---my mind is always in the gutter........adjusting to many positions....that I could live with. Thing is, well, I won't go any further!! hehehehehe
