♥Happy March!!! And Happy me...

Happy March!!!   Although around "my neck of the woods", it looks like Winter In Narnia.   That whipped-cream-snow-covered look.  Which usually goes with December.  :-)   Schools closed, and all that jazzzzzzzz...

Ahhhhhh March!  My birth month!!  :-)  Although my Birthday is not for weeks and weeks yet.  It's more into the time, when Mars takes over from Pisces.  And that's me, as I age...  More Mars than Pisces.  ,-)

But I've already received the nicest of Birthday presents.  Nope, not the new computer.  Yesterday was my last appointment, connected with the Colonoscopy.  Allllllllllll is fine.  Other than some things, which everyone my age, has.  But my doc's advice is, just keep up the fiber content in my diet, and go happily.  Wheeeeewwww...  -happy sigh-

He told me this, right after the procedure too, of course.  But yesterday was the office visit to cap it off, with reports and advice and etc.  And time for me to ask questions!!!!   Oh I  go to the doc, with my questions in hand!  :-)))))

I was worried about this test.  I admit it now, I was.  And in the time coming up to it, it was hard to not worry, and to keep a happy countenance.  But, I did it, as best I could.  Worry never helps anything!  But sometimes, that's easier-said-than-done, though.

But happily, I can relax now.  And I happily share this news, with my Dear Reader Friends.

According to Gladys Taber

"March is exciting.  Wild wind winnowing the fields of winter and the brown, good, wet earth showing, and the washed blue of the sky, and the brook running mad by the Phillips' barn.  There is the smell of spring in the air, and the feeling of spring in the heart.  In my childhood, the carpets were out on the line by now, beaten with big wire whisks, and the front porches were scrubbed and freshly painted gray or mustard."

Btw, March 1st is 'Peanut Butter Lover's Day'  ,-)  Better not tell "Uncle A." this!!!  He loves Peanut
Butter, and it will only give him an excuse to have MORE...  -giggles-

The "ides" of March...  I can never remember the date.  'Tis the fifteenth...    When everyone goes around saying;  "Beware the ides of March."   ,-))))   But what are the "ides" anyway?  The ides of Jan. is the the thirteenth...  The ides of March, May, July and October is the fifteenth...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Glad that all is well and now you can give yourself over completely to spring fever. Peanut Butter Day? They've got a day for everything. John already has had his for the day, though he may be naughty and have a peanut butter sandwich at some point in the day, especially once he learns this. It'll be his duty.

Lovely images, as always, and a general good way to begin my bloggy visits. Thank you!

WONDERFUL news indeed, about your test results:-) Isn't it awful how we can worry ourselves silly about such things? No doubt it felt like a huge weight was lifted off your shoulders when the doctor told you all was fine. It was the same when mom got her results from her barium test:-)

We had another snowstorm last night and of course it had to start when I was in town and had to drive through it to get home! I just took it slowly and got home safely:-)

To tell you the truth I've always heard of Ides of March but have never really known what it means! lol Another thing I must Google! hehe

Love your graphics, soooo pretty:-) xoxo

Hi,
I like your blog - so much you pack into it! :) It's lovely.

Glad your Colonoscopy is over with and everything is fine.

We had seen that the snow went north and eastward. We're smack here in the middle in central Illinois with nothing but sunshine and warm springlike temperatures, but just to the south of us - 3 hours south where my Mom's family all lives - they're suffering through the devastation of the first major tornado of the season and to think the season has just begun. This is the part that I do not like about spring and summer (the tornado warnings). The weather forecast is showing that we could be under the threat of this severe weather tomorrow. I hope not - it always makes me so nervous.

Hope you have a wonderful Birthday month. This is my youngest sister's birthday month as well. The year that she was born it was the First Day of Spring and no matter when that first day falls on the calendar, Mom always still says it's only on my sister's birthday! ♥

Hope you have a wonderful remainder of the week.
Blessings always,
Linda

From one March birthday girl to another, I am glad to hear your tests went well. Our weather here has been cold and drizzly, not good for one with arthritis and back problems. Pain has been flaring up again.

So very glad that your Colonoscopy results were good news.

Do you plan on celebrating everyday this month up to and including your birthday?

I usually do that in my birthday month

Hugs,
Penny

No.1 - 'just keep up the fiber content in my diet, and go happily.' I had to laugh at the double entendre here! :)

No.2 - March 1st is National Peanut Butter Day? Why didn't anyone tell me??????????????????????????
