~♥~Question... A quality-of-life question...

Another one of the *Crazy Looking Breads*...  Poor "Uncle A."...  Sometimes this recipe comes out fine.  And sometimes, it comes our ....  *weird*.  Yesterday was a *weird* one.  LOL.

Morning moon...

Does it look like Spring, in your *neck of the woods*?

Here, this week, it does.  Consistently warmer temps, both day and night.  Oh we still have to dodge moisture, on certain paths.  Places where sunlight doesn't get through shrubbery.  And places where there is a little water run off.  But mostly, we can find paths to walk, which are not going to get our shoes muddy.

When I opened the patio door, to take the picture of the moon, I could hear a bird singing.  Oh yes, there are many birds singing out there, I'm sure.  But with my loss of hearing, I'm just not hearing them.  But then, it's not warm enough to open the windows/doors, so I'm not missing much, yet.

I will be.  Come open-window-weather.  I know.  I know.  But so far, I haven't been able to force myself to get one of those new-and-improved-fancy-hearing-aids.  "Uncle A." wants me to.  He does.  Everyone wants me to.  But I had hearing aids before, and could not stand to wear them.  And hate to spend a lot of money and have the same thing happen, again.  -sighhhhhhhhhh-

Decisions...  Decisions...  Decisions....

Are there any hard-of-hearing ladies, among my Dear Readers?

Have you had luck, with hearing aids?

If so, please share the info with me!!!!!!  Please, please, please, please, please.

I really wish I could solve this problem, in some way, in which I can live with the solution.  For quality of life.  Both for myself, and for others.

Please and thank you...

Our temperature yesterday said spring, but the evenings still have quite a chill. You asked yesterday if I had gotten the needed wire for my camera. Unfortunately, no, so much else has been needed since our move, it has slipped my mind. That photo was already in my album.

you have hit on my hot button with my husband, he drives me nuts with not being able to hear me and with the TV so loud it hurts my ears. 9 years ago we bought hearing aids, the tiny ones that go in the ear canal. they worked so well and my stress level went down, now the left one if broken, we have had it repaired 3 times in 2 years, they said he needs a new one, he refuses to get it. i am the one who suffers not him. yesterday the thing broke n half and i thought yipee now he wil get a new one. he glued it together with airplane glue. arrrh did i say this is a hot button? like this morning, i am in the bedroom, he yells down the hall from the door, i am leaving now. i yell ok. he storms down the hall and says did you hear me say i am leaving? i said yes i did, YOU did not here ME when i answered... so his aids give me a better quality of life not just him.

It is very challenging to carry on conversation with a person who is not hearing well. Lots of miscommunication is going on. It's the 21st Century and there has to be something that will work well for you. If everyone is "saying something" I hope that you might try again.

I am starting to lose my hearing. Either that or I'm not always "present."

Fortunately I don't have a problem with my hearing yet. My husband was a bit hard of hearing, I think you might call it selective hearing, hearing only the things you want to hear. LOL

I hope you have a great day.

Isn't there a surgery to correct hearing now? Thought there was...expensive? Don't know...
Opened the windows here yesterday...nice!

That is one crazy looking loaf of bread! but I'm sure it tastes delicious.
I am blessed with very good hearing.
It sure feels like spring here today - temperatures in the mid 70's this afternoon.

Believe it or not but our snow is actually starting to melt and in fact, we're even seeing grass in some places! With above normal temperatures the last few days, it's melting fast and hopefully in another week or so it will be all gone since they're saying the temps will keep going up. If we dare have another snowstorm before March is over I'll scream! lol

Since they've made vast improvements with hearing aids, maybe you should give it another try? My brother in law Barney wears one and he has no problems with his at all. He lost a lot of his hearing from working underground at the mines.

Your bread does look funny but I bet it was delicious anyway:-) xoxo

Snowing here as I speak. Ugh. More time in the barn with Ella. The Goatfather needs hearing aids, but like Beth's husband, we believe it to be more a case of 'Selective Hearing'. :) Our neighbor had a pair that he didn't like and wouldn't wear, but then he got new ones and they were fine. Maybe you could find a place that lets you try some to see how they feel or something.

I hope you find a hearing aid that doesn't break the bank and works. You are missing out on so much. Don't you want to know what those darn kids are whispering about when they are in the same room?

So far (knock on wood) both Mr. Sweet and I are doing good on our hearing.
I think he hears a little better than I do 'cause I tend to turn the tv up louder. :)
