(The "Aunts," from "Practical Magic")
Now, this is how to dress, for gardening! :-))))
If one were lucky enough to live in a house, like this above...
And one's out-back-view, was like this above...
(Thanks to "A Fanciful Twist's" blog entry on 'Practical Magic', for these lovely photos.)
But since none of the above (in photos) is so here, I'll just have to settle for wearing old pants/shirt. ,-) To go and attack weeds. And be glad that Sat. has sun and clouds and no rain, at present. ,-)
...But speaking of my out-back-view...
Last evening, I did get to see these images, out-back...
And across the fence...
Gabe and Daddy... Watering the little transplanted tree...
And 'Pop,' interrupting reading his paper on the back patio,
to go over and chat a bit... :-))))
Btw, I have stopped showing Gabe's full-face-view. He's over 2 and I guess it's time. Since our children do not want their kids' pics, on the World Wide Net in a blog. (They have them on Facebook, and think them 'private' and 'safe.' With which I don't agree.... There is no such thing as private, on the Net. But, they don't listen to me... -grin-)

Aren't those gardening clothes quite fashionable? I just hope there is no one around to photograph me in the garden.:)
I am reluctant to post pictures of people on the Internet myself.
i agree with you, Facebook is not safe, they can even hack in and steal email addresses and use them to send fake emails. so glad i don't dress like that to go in the yard, it is hot hot hot in our yard and not not not good for all those clothes. i love their view out the door though.
I've never had nor wanted Facebook. I'm quite comfortable the way things are. I don't think they would quite dress like that if they had our weather. It's only May and so hot and humid. Already I find myself getting cranky.

Dear Auntie,
Ah, yes! Practical Magic! Did you see the Little UnDead's foray, some time back, into scenes from Practical Magic on Whidbey Island? Sadly that beautiful house was built on San Juan Island and was dismantled after the movie. What a shame. As for FaceBook, you go!, Auntie. Anything on FaceBook is probably LESS likely to be safe than anywhere else on the net! They ought to do some legitimate research into all the information that FaceBook itself gathers about you...and it's all there for any would-be do-badder to just hack into. Plus, WHY does FaceBook need to gather all that information on one in the first place? Oh, yes, they say there are things you can 'turn off' to be safe. The information still is gathered no matter what you 'turn off'.
I love that house it would be really cool to live in a house like that and yes the clothes they wore for gardening was so cool. I did like the movie Practical Magic.....
I am with you don't think anything on the net it ever really private and safe
Have a wonderful weekend.....
oh!! You already ARE having a great and wonderful weekend!!
Me, TOO!!
What a cutie pie! Nope, I wouldn't be dressed like that in the garden.
Well Gabe is a Doll at Any angle!
I've always wished I could open the doors to my house...sigh...but the flies and mosquitoes would love it too!Hahaa

So nice to meet you. I am looking forward to getting to know you and to being a new follower.
I enjoyed my visit by here today and so glad I found your lovely site.
It seems our children feel the same way about showing our grandchildrens pictures.
Take care
Maggie
I understand about not showing faces...I only show the back of Hotrod...or side views that you can't see his face....
I only put my grandchildren's photos on, the first few months of life. The kids don't want them on and I agree.
Some do put them on Face Book. I agree with you, even with controls, there is no guarantee of privacy.
I like the old gardening clothes but they must have been hot to wear.
