♥ Well, THAT was something...

Tuesday  ~~  Strong thunderstorms ~~   hail, heavy rain and wind ~~  brought down trees, power lines ~~ power outages ~~  tornado watch  ~~  545 in county still without power

Well, that was something!

And we are still in May...

Since we knew we were getting bad weather, in the morning, I took some "before" pics.  Just in case the winds/rain beat heavily on the flowers.

Now, we have to watch Gabe for an hour....  BBL...  :-)

Wow!!! It has been a very strange May indeed. Here, we have August weather. So uncomfortable. And yesterday the AC went out at work. Here we are, 10 floors up, no breeze, no fans. I called in sick today. Still have this nasty cold and have lost my voice. Best to take care of this than go in and suffer more.

Enjoy your Gabe time. He is such a sweetie.

Oh my! We got a tiny bit of rain last night but thankfully no storms came with it. Hope your flowers are all okay! They are very pretty and I love your header pic.

Wow some very strong winds indeed. I'm in Northern Ontario and it seems all we've gotten the past month has been strong strong winds. Thankfully not too much damage. Your flowers are beautiful. I have to get out and photograph a few of mine....they are just starting.

Your flowers are lovely...smart to take photos before the storm! A few weeks ago my hanging geraniums were lush, and then a heavy downpour pummeled them, but alas I have blooms again.

Oh my goodness, what a storm you had indeed! They were forecasting the same over here but thankfully it bypassed us. We just got a bit of rain. It's twice now that we've had tornado warnings which is unusual because it's not something we get very often around here.

Your flowers are just gorgeous and I'm so loving their colours. Except for my lilac tree, I don't have anything else in bloom right now but should have irises blooming in a week or two. xoxo
