Oh what a door!!!!!!!!!! Who could resist trying to go through that door??? And what wonderful, amazing, magical things must lie beyond it? :-))))))
Mmmmm, not quite so enchanting... A wee bit on the sad side.... But then.... "Up one pair of stairs" has a rather magical sound to it, too. Perhaps not quite as enticing as the big, delicious, old door above but........ Stillllll..... Don't you want to quietly creep up that "one pair of stairs"???? I know I do!

i so want to go to these place ... i love winnie the pooh & tigger. that library would be a place i could be for hours. think of all the fun you could read. guess that is one reason i love the read. to my dreams & fantasies i go. ha. ha! you enjoy your weekend, my friends. so happy to have you in my blog life. ha. ha! big hugs. I was putting together bookcases for the sewing room this morning. They didn't work out so I had to pull a switcheroo. When I did, I found one of my favorite childhood books. This means a post sometime next week! How sweet to find these illustrations here today.
Ahhh, you touched on a place so dear to my heart -- children's lit. I have tons of 'old-fashioned' books, and I can't wait to share them with my grandies! The children's book sections -- in the library and bookstores -- have certainly grown since I was little!

Ha! I just thought the Little Possee was a family blog. :) I would like to go to Harry Potter's book store. :) There I would find 'the cure' :)
There is still a child in me because I love the children's books and a library is a favorite spot to browse..love your pictures
