♥ Surprise! Photo Ops! Surprise! ,-)

Congratulations to Jan, who commented yesterday;  "As to your "mystery" photo...is is a trailer hitch on a bumper?"  Yes Ma'am!  It is!

 (More rust!!!  -gigggles-)

On errands yesterday, I began noticing this-and-that...  Photo Ops.  LOL...  Like the old rusted car parked next to us, when we were getting corn.

(OPEN  ......   CLOSED)

Saw this set of signs!!!  But we were going-the-wrong-way for me to get a good pic, from my passenger side window.  So I had "Uncle A." go around a block, and come out in the parking lot, to be right in front of the place.  (Yes, it issssssssss  CLOSED at that time of day)  -grin-

And now below... the "Piece de restance" or however you say it...  The TOPPER...!  Of FUNNY Photo Ops!  -grin-

Taken through the front wind shield of the car, and not clear but.......  Look right in the middle of the pic...  Sticking up out of that white garbage can...   Isn't that a very dry, old Christmas Tree???????

"Uncle A." thought maybe it was just a cut-down-shrub...  But...  Look at it!!!!!  It's a perfect little Christmas Tree shape.  :-)
♥
NOOOO, I am not going to stop and ask!!!!!  -giggles-    *Bad* enough, I drive through neighborhoods, snapping pics!!!!!!!  -chuckle-

THIS ONE above, was right at home...  And thrilling!  We were walking out the side garage door, after being "called over" to see the "Grands" new (indoor) kitty.  And I was walking in front and noticed SOMETHING RED, in front of me.  I hollered for "Uncle A." to STOP!  I stopped myself, of course.

If you look very closely, in the left-of-middle of the pic of dry grass, dry ground, and side-yard-stuff....  Do you see the RED BODY of a DRAGONFLY?!?!?!?

I was so excited!!!  Turning my camera on and getting it ready to take a pic.  Holding my breath, that he would stay lit some place.  They do, usually.  They seem to plop down, and stay for a bit, in one place, and then another.

I cropped the pic more.....   To try to show him....   But cropping takes away clarity.  -sigh-  And actually, in trying to get the picture, I didn't *see* his wings.  They had to be there!!!!  He was flying.  :-)  Must be very clear, as it were.

I have never seen a wildly colored DRAGONFLY, before!!!!!!!!!!  -happy sigh-

YEA!!! I answered right!!! That was fun!

You always take the neatest photos, "Auntie". I felt bad for that sad little dead tree in the garbage can, among all that living-green in the background.

Neat play on the signs in the shop windows, too :)

I have never seen a red dragonfly!!! What a prize photo that one is!

Have a beautiful Sunday,
Jan

I have the funniest visual of you and Uncle A crazily driving around town, turn here, go there, and you hanging out the window snapping photos. Hang on to that Uncle A, he's a good un',
Never saw a red dragonfly. Happy Sunday.

Love the red dragon fly.
I've been seeing some mighty strange and colorful critters up on our land.
I think it's fun driving around looking for things to photograph. I do the same thing only I walk!
