♥ More found. And just for fun...

I was thrilled to find something else, while reading old entries on one of my blogs, from another year.  The NAME of a book I had enjoyed.  I've been wanting to remember the name, and thus, find it again.   Talked to librarians and looked and looked, but could not come up with the exact name.

It was "The Poison Diaries" by Maryrose Wood.   I loved it.  And now I find that it is the 1st book, in a Trilogy.  So I have made a library request, for both the first book, and the second book.  Yesssssss!   Another one of my Young Adult choices.  (Don't knock YA books, until you've tried 'em.)  :-))))

(Just another pretty old house, around town...)

Our oldest Granddaughter, who is going into her Junior year in college, is taking out to lunch, our next oldest Granddaughter, who is starting college in a couple of days, along with our next Granddaughter, who starts HS this fall.  Isn't that cute?????  3 girl cousins, going out to lunch, together.  I love it.   :-)

(And pink 4 O'Clocks blooming...)

(Not just red ones...)

An OLD picture I found, of Gabe, as a cute little "Imp".   Isn't he the cutest little "Imp", you ever saw?????  :))))))))))

And this was Gabe last evening, sitting beside me and folding the place-mat.  It came out perfectly!  Since I'm not supposed to show his face well, now that he's over 2 years of age.  :-)

Another pic, after cake.  :-)  Ahemmmmmmmmmm...  I know he's still cute-with-curls, but.......  Come on, he's a BOY!!!!!  Gotta' trim off those long, long, long strands of hair.  -pout-  But!  Mommy/Daddy know that it's growing in straight, as you can see.  And when they cut-the-curls, they will be GONE.  -Sob-sob-sob-  Sooooo, they won't cut them.  -grump-grump-grump-  says Nana.  But only to herself.  It's not my call.  ,-)

Another example of something I found, in old posts of mine...  A Mummy Meatloaf!  Isn't this the cutest thing???

Basically I suppose all you have to do, is make your own Meatloaf.  Shape it round, instead of rectangular.  Or, make individual Meatloaf servings!  Wrap in noodles after applying cheese and half olives, for the eyes.

But guess you'd have to bake the round-ish Meatloafs first.  Then apply cooked noodles and the other things, and stick back in oven for a couple of minutes.  ;-))))))

Just for fun...  A pic of Ryan Monroe of "The Band of Horses"...  From their tour (in Pittsburgh PA), the other night...  They have a fantastic photographer, Christopher Wilson, who travels with them on tour, and does super, wonderful, amazing, cool photography.  And that above, is his work of course.  (I added the white-framing, which I should not have.  Poooooh...  ,-) )

Those curls, oh those curls!

I really like the windows on the top floor of the house; they're such an interesting detail.

Thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog this morning; take care of you!

Good morning. I love those yellow 4 o'clocks. My youngest had those curls when he was Gabe's age. Was hard to part with them.

Until this summer and your blog, I'm not sure that 4 o'clocks ever registered with me. They are very nice and I will now be more attentive. Love the curls. As you know, my youngest grand has those curls when his hair is allowed to grow, though it usually isn't anymore. By the time Gabe is five and well off to school, you probably won't have anything to go on save memory alone as far as his curls are concerned until he's a teenager. Don't most kids go through a longer hair phase again then?

Glad you discovered the name of your book. I learn a lot of things all over again when looking in my blog.

So many items today! I do like YA books -- I used them in my classes! Lovely flowers and pretty house. Cute meatloaf, but too much work! Adorable little boy -- save the curls for memories!

Peace,
Muff

I make a round meat loaf anyway because I make mine in the slow cooker. : )

The curls are cute but I must admit I'm not a fan of curls. I know, I'm odd. : )

You can give me all the compliments about my pictures you want to! : ) I'll say THANK YOU and I appreciate every one.

Finding the name of your book and to find it is a trilogy is one of the simple joyful blessings life has to offer on occasion. I would love to live in an old house like that...it has Dee written all over it.:) I love his curls...he is only this little for a short while. :)

You are really good with the camera, Auntie! Love the house, flowers, etc. And Gabe is just adorable! Love the curls.

The mummy meatloaf made me laugh, but could be scary on a sleepless night when raiding the fridge to have it looking at you! ha!
