♥ A "Quelle horreur!" And A "Save"...

I was looking at a blog I had in '09.  Came across a picture of this beautiful blue Hydrangea, we had  back then.  And they never produced abundant flowers again.  -pout-  We are ready to cut them down!

Do you do that, on occasion?  Look back at your blog entries, for ~  say ~  Like August of a few years in the past?  It interesting.  To see how-our-mind-was-working, way back when.  -grin-

What is it?  A Grasshopper?????  On the outside of the patio screen door?

Could not get a good pic of him, from inside the screen.  When I put flash on, it simply lit-up the screen grid.  ,-)

Quelle horreur !

My camera is out of batteries.  And I used the last 2 up, last time.

Eeeeeeek!  We always keep back-up batteries on hand.   But not this time.  An early jaunt to the Hardware Store is needed.  :-)))))

OK...  So what's to do?  Go wandering in my blog, back in Aug. of 2009, again.   And reap some beauty, form there!!!

And look what I found!  A gorgeous project, made by "Fabulous Fifi."

Go to this post, and scroll down, and find there detailed instructions on how she made this.  A hint...

From a wire basket and strands of pearls from a store's Bridal Section.

I haven't visited "Chez Fifi" blog in ages.  She finds/does such amazingly beautiful things.  I can't DO that.  But it's lovely to look at the pictures.  :-)

Here are some other examples, of what you'll find, on her blog...

-Le sigh-  Aren't they lovely????

i like the pearl chandelier and did look how she made it, but if did that it would NOT look like hers. great idea. all 5 of my digital cameras, starting with number 1 in 2002, i made sure they had rechargeable batteries. but then one time i forgot to recharge the batter, so i bought a second one and kept it charged and ready just in case. hope you have your batteries by now.

Great photos. I've never gone back to my old blog posts. I should do that -- someday!
Peace,

Lovely images from Fifi!

I give very little time to reviewing or thinking about the past. Somehow the present manages to keep me too busy.:)

Do some research on how to get your blue hydrangea back...it's not too tough, but I can't remember which way it goes. They'll be blooming blue for next year for certain.

Yes, what lovely things your friend does. I have not visited there for a long time.

The hydrangea needs a very acidic anvironment to be blue. You can add this to the soil around the plant. The grasshopper is a katydid. :) Nice old blog posts! :)

Once in a while yes, I do go back and take a look at some old blog entries.
Looked like a grasshopper to me.
