Thank you Dear Readers, for your answers to my questions!
You are the BEST!SOME picture, hu? -gigggggles- And Yes, I blurrrred-the-heck-out-of-it! It is a particularly AWFUL self-portrait. -chuckle-
Me in my dust mask... Preparing to dust Den and Hearth Room... Which 'Uncle A.' had already vacuumed, on Monday morning.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
And this is how I dusted.... With a sock on my hand, and sprays of 'Pledg*." ,-))) This way, raises less dust. And dust is a "no-no", with my allergies. Extra dust, I mean.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
A Dear Reader has asked about how-I-do-my-pics, on my blog. OK... I download them to my computer photo ap. Crop and fiddle, there. Then use *something,* on my computer, to size them. I regularly make my pics 900 Wide. (What that means, I don't know... You'll have to figure out how to do it, on your own computer. My computer geek and I are both on Macs, so he walked me through it.) Then I put pics into my blog and .... The little box which comes up under your pic, when you click on your pic, when you are writing your blog entry..... That I click on 'Original Size'.
My preference is to see a blog's pictures, nice and large, when I read any blog's posts. This system, makes mine nice-and-large, to me. And no one has to click on my pics, to bring them up LARGE, on another screen.

YOU ASKED THE QUESTION ABOVE, BUT YOUR LINK, DOES NOT TAKE ME TO YOUR BLOG. ONLY TO SOME EXTRANEOUS THINGY, WANTING ME TO JOIN. -sigh- ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
This was taken on a sunny day, showing sunlight coming through in early morning.... And showing some changing colors, of Autumn. Today/Tues. is finally rainy, for a change. :-)
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Finally make myself a Gluten Free Apple Crisp. In a very small dish. The pics make it look like a big dish, but it is not. Even 'Uncle A.' enjoyed it. Meaning, even though it had some G/F flour in it. It was just an Apple Crisp.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Still reading "No Easy Day." It is FASCINATING...! I don't want to get it all read. ,-) But 'Uncle A.' is waiting for it. And probably, son next door...

And now, I guess I have posted enough pics, for one post. -grin-
Oh and someone asked me another question, concerning my blogging, and it has flown right out of my head. ,-)))))) Sorry........ If it pops-back-in, I'll attempt to answer. :-) And leave a comment, in the blog of the gal who questioned.... So she will know where to look for her answer. As I will do now, in the blog of the gal who asked about how I size my pics. :-)
I figure ALL of us, read all our comments. So if I leave an answer, in the person's blog comments, they will find it. Oh and I give a click-able-link-to-this-post, in my commented answer, so she can easily find the answer she requested.

Oh, my, that apple crisp looks fantastic. We seem to be thinking along the same lines. I've just been checking out some recipes for apple crisp.
Mary
that thingy that you go to is Google Plus, and i am not joining it. the blogs that require that i just skip.
the orignial size thing doesn't work unless you change the template to the one you are using, without the side bar, showing one post and nothing else. with my template orginal size makes it go under the side bar. i like by side bar, so the pics will just have to be the size they are
hahaha....you sure were protected from the deadly dust! the blog tech does my photos. he is leaving for a vacation on thursday and i could be in trouble. he will be doing thursday's post from and airport i guess. he likes to keep me dependent!
Let me make a suggestion about dusting. Check into Norwex products, they have a dust mitt that holds the dust in the fiber. I have one and love it!! They also have what is called an enviro-cloth for windows and all hard surfaces that cleans with just water. If you don't have a representative in your area for a demonstration e-mail me, and I can tell you much more. It is the answer for folks with allergies!!
Would you try an experiment for me? If you size a photo to 800 or less, it doesn't count against your photo storage at Picasa. Now, if instead of clicking "original size" you click "extra large" what happens? I know. It'll be a lot of bother, but it will provide us with an idea and perhaps save on storage.
Oh what you have to go through to dust. I'd rent a grand or a daughter-in-law. ☺
Have I told you how beautiful your pink mums are in your header? What a splendid color. I have not seen any like that.
I am not asking John about wild oats. I'm sure that he may have sown a few; however, I have not. =D
beautiful photos...love the backgroud...but I'm having trouble reading the black letters on it...
I've dusted with socks before too.
The apple crisp looks sooo good. I'd love some with a scoop of vanilla ice cream over it. : )
After our house fire, we had to have some furniture refinished because of water damage. The refinisher told us about preserving wood. He said NEVER use products like pledge. Simply take a damp cloth and go over the wood, then once a year, put a little oil on a cloth and rub it over the surface.
When I was still able to do those chores, I, too, had to cover my nose when the dust was flying -- fall allergies are the pits!
Love your mum plant!!!
Peace,
Muff
Hello dear Auntie:-)
It feels so good to finally have a day with noooo plans!! Good thing too, since it's so cold and rainy outside, I don't want to go out there!!
I'm one of the lucky ones, don't have any allergies to anything, unlike my poor mom who is so allergic to many things. Should have seen Corey and Kristin on the morning of their wedding...both have seasonal allergies and they were sneezing up a storm. Thank goodness the Claritin finally kicked in! lol
Love all your flower pictures and also enjoy seeing your pictures in such a large format. Your apple crisp looks so delicious, I think I'm going to make one today too using our own apples:-)
The leaves are really starting to change colours around here as well, I so love this time of year! xoxo
HeeeHeeeeee- what a show-stopper when I saw your little smidge of a picture on my sidebar this morning, Auntie!
Dust mask, indeed!
Your pink mums are gorgeous! You must have a really good camera - I can see so much detail in your photos. Of course, I have to scroll not only up and down my screen, but also all the way across to see them AND to read all your script!
But hey - I'm willing to do that for only a very few special people!
No complaining from me!
THat dessert looks great - wonder if you can do that with peaches? Now THAT would make it positively perfect!
Your header photo is gorgeous! The pink mums are just fantastic.
I think many of us use socks for dusting. They are perfect for the dirty, but necessary task.
Thank you for your nice comment regarding my white background. I've experimented on my test blog with other blog looks, but can't seem to get it right. The photos end up overlapping my sidebar. Grrr. I'm so techy-challenged! So the only thing I know to do is just change the background color until I figure it out. I need to change my header. It's just finding time to do all these things!
Have a wonderful day!
I'm Loving the mask photo! And using a SOCK to dust...GREAT Idea! Hubby has a few mismatched ones in cotton I could use!!
Thanks Auntie!

Snicker...that face behind the mask. That's what the Goatmother looks like when she comes to the barn! :)
Your tree changes are the same as the ones around where I live. It is fun to watch them. I can relate to your allergy problems...it pays to be careful.I have used old socks also.
