♥ When...? Silliness... I want...! ,-)

Do you check your Comments "SPAM" place?  Yikes, we should.  I haven't been doing it regularly, and now I am.  Not nice to find our Dear Reader's comments, "plunked-down" in Spam.

Ya' know how we write of something, we like...  And then we wonder if it sounds like it is not age appropriate or something?  (Like YA Lit or Children's books, etc., etc., etc.)  So we say something like;  "Oh I know it's funny, that I like such-and-such...  But..."  In other words, we apologize.  Ahead of time.  In case someone else might think it funny, odd, unusual, not-age-appropriate, or something...    Our own liking something, isn't enough.

When do we get to not care about what other's think???   When do we get to stop making excuses?  When???

 Actually, I think NOW.

Playing with my camera...  Trying to make shot look misty, by breathing on the lens...  -chuckle-

More *heavy breathing*...  -giggggles-

I'd LOVE to have this "hoodie"!  But I certainly couldn't afford it.  Even if it came in a big enough size, for me.  ,-)))   Oh well........

You need that hoodie, yes you do!

I chuckled when I read 'heavy breathing'...I used to tease my mother and stepfather with that phrase whenever they kissed. Such a brat I was!

I've set mine to have everything come up on my Yahoo email first. That way nothing goes through to spam without my inspection. Most blogs are no problem, get very little spam, but it seems that my blog on women and violence gets tons of it from Anonymous. In that case, Anonymous comes on email, but goes straight into spam on blog.

i forget spam is there, so i just checked mine and there were 13 in the spam and none of them were spam. my comments come into my email and i read them there, so i had read all 13 of these, but they would not show up in the comments. very strange because these were all regular followers, not a one was a stranger. weird.

I have one reader whose comments always go to spam and I can't figure out why. I do get her comments in my e-mail, but they don't show up on my blog page...another one of those mysteries of the blog world. :)

Yes, I do check my spam.

I think the older we get we don't worry so much about what others think of us. And we find that a lot of people feel the same way as we do about things. If we're a bit different, so what, I think that's good thing. : )

Want to know how I feel about what other people think of me and my likes? As Rhett Butler once said..."Frankly, my dear, I don't give a DAMN"!! hehe Oh, Auntie, may we never grow up:-)

I so LOVE your candy corn lights, I've never seen those before! I just spent the morning decorating for Halloween, just need to do the outside part now. First, though, I need to clean out my flowerbeds at the front of the house.

That hoodie is hilarious, you must get one for yourself! hehe xoxo

We start RIGHT NOW, Auntie!!! I for one am tired of trying to live-up to what others believe I should be. I am 66 years old and I believe that I have earned the right to be myself. I love halloween, witches and so on. If someone who visits my blog does not approve of something I've said, done or posted...please feel free to move on...thank you :)

Love your photos as always...beautiful~~~

Oh you made me laugh. You are having some fun over here, aren't you?!

I will have to try breathing on my camera lens for a misty look...thanks for the tip..LOL Your candy corn lights are great...I love the size of them. Your home is so cozy and cute, and unique....kind of like you and your blog. As we get older it seems we become more comfortable with who we are and what we do and do not like. One good plus of aging.:)
