I am so excited, to go back to Nature's Time this weekend. To be "Falling Back" on Sunday night. I admit. I'm "olden" and I like "The Old Ways." :-)))) And to me, Nature's Time is more logical, than this silly Daylight Savings Time.

I know. Some of you hate to turn the clocks back. That is fine. You are free to have your views. The same as I am free, to have mine. :-)
Will turning the clocks back, mess with you, Dear Reader? Will it be hard to adjust? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Here is the place to let it all hang out! -grin- Comment away and tell the world what you think, about Falling Back in Fall. :-) You will feel better, after getting it off your chest! Betcha'... :-)))))))
With the weather changing, there are a lot less opportunities for taking photos. So I actually took a picture, of the old coffee container, which I used to fill with left-over Halloween candy... So that "Uncle A." could take it out in the garage/work shop with him. I can't eat any of it. He can use it, as a snack, once in a while.
But since it's a garage, wee little *varmints* can come in there. So food out there, has to be kept safely. Coffee cans come in handy, for this purpose. ,-) ~~~~~~~~~~ If this isn't *DIGGING* for something to picture... I don't know what is. lol....

An old clock which has been in my family... Mmmm, either it is tipped... Or I was tipped, when I took this photo. Probably the latter........ ,-)

Hate it, but then you knew that. ☺ Glad that at least one of us will be happy for the next several months. LOL!
Oh what a handsome clock! Do you know how old it is or anything much about it?
Great idea for the candy. Trouble is that I made the mistake of purchasing some that nobody likes, including the kids. Well, I like it and that's probably the reason why I bought it. Selfish me. Now what to do with it because I can't eat it either!
your header made my heart swoon!! I had saved my old Victoria magazines saved and when we moved they disappeared, such a loss, keeping the treats in a can in the garage is a great idea!!Love ly plates in the photo, and clock as well, have a wonderful Saturday,
I will gladly move our clocks back an hour tonight! It would be just fine with me to keep Standard Time year round!
It is very hard for me to part with issues of Victoria magazine, too.
I wish the time changes didn't exist. Hate it!!!!!
It's so hard to throw out Victoria mags. I had a stack around here for the longest. Don't know if I threw them out or put them away again somewhere. They are such fun to look through... even years later.
As for the 'time change'... it doesn't matter to me one way or the other.
We didn't 'do' daylight savings time here until just a few years ago and I find it a mildly irritating nuisance. Oh okay, I complain about it on a semi-annual basis and comment on how silly it is to think time changes just because our clocks do.
It's a ritual, the other Bletherskites would miss it terribly. Of course they would. Really.
;-)
i vote with you on welcome back NORMAL time, you know the one where at noon the sun is straight up overhead. this is the one i like the best and it does mess with me both times it changes. takes me 3 weeks to Get OVER IT.... i would like them to leave it alone and never change it. don't even care which one. but i do love this one. i use coffee cans for all kinds of things.
I don't mind the changing of the clocks, but I loooooovvvvee getting that extra hour every fall. It doesn't mean as much now as it did when I worked, though. Lovely clocks you have!
Peace,
Muff
O, dear...we, too, have a lot of candy left over. I am not gonna do this NEXT year (hey, didn't I say that same thing LAST year?)
If anyone answers YES to your question in your header, they MUST vote for Mitt Romney.
If it's ok with you, I am going to use the Lincoln quote, too.:)

oops, not A Lincoln quote....but using the Preamble.....
I love your new look!!!! I wish they would leave the time alone after Fall back change
I LOVE turning the clock back so I am in complete agreement with you, Auntie :) I just posted a Maxine cartoon...stop by and get a good chuckle if you have the time :)
I love that clock...gorgeous!!!
Your header makes me yearn for Victorian days and decor. I must have an old/antique soul~~~
I really like your sense of humor, Auntie!
Am getting a bit nervous about the election. It's too close for comfort. Do you feel confident about our candidate? I know he's right for our country, but I don't know how many agree with me!!
I wish they would leave the time alone and quit changing it! It's hard to adjust each time.
Enjoy your weekend!
Oh I am very happy to be getting the time back to normal. Wish they would leave the time alone. Every spring I want to move to Arizona where they don't have DST.
I'm looking forward to walking in the light of morning instead of the dark!!
Okay I don't mind setting my clocks back tonight - and I don't mind pushing them ahead in March. But leave it one way or the other!!!!
Give us some stability! What about you?
sandie
Ok, Auntie - here you go - I mean, here I go -
I HATE GOING BACK TO REGULAR TIME!
Folks that need to get outside after work in the afternoon have to go out in the dark! Taking care of the chickens and such in the dark can get you a big blob (or 56) of chicken POOP on your shoes!
Besides, the short days with little sun gives me the blues real quick. Bring on the Zoloft! I need sunshine!!!
Beautiful old clock, Auntie - it's lovely. How old is it?
I don't particularly hate turning back the clock. It's rather like a tax refund, isn't it? You feel like you're getting something extra (in this case an hour), when really the government is just giving you back what they stole - I mean took - earlier in the year.
It is a bit discouraging, though, to have the sun suddenly disappearing at 5 pm. And I do wish we could stop messing about with the time and just LEAVE IT THE SAME ALL YEAR LONG!!!!!
:)
The Fall Back is okay but it's the Spring Forward that beats me up.
Have a great day!
