November came in with rain.... Above, on the pool cover. You can see the rain drops there. No worry, the leaves are caught in a mesh top, on top of the pool cover. It's not as bad as it looks, I mean. -grin-
And here are seen a couple of drops of rain, in the little pond. Around there, is not cleaned up yet, as is obvious. Just to the bottom left of that pic, you see what's left of my summer Wave Petunias. Which I have been telling myself, I must dig out. ~~~~~~~~ Well, didn't 3 blossoms come out on them, a day ago! -chuckle- Didn't that make me feel better, about not getting them cleaned up? Yes it did. lol.
Just wet leaves. Which of course, aren't picked up yet. But!!!!!!! I will look on the bright side!!!! They make a (perhaps) interesting Photo Op!!!!!! -grin-
The storm caused me to try making G/F Muffins, myself. With G/F flour and etc. I added walnuts and Maraschino Cherries... They aren't as great as muffins-made-with-flour. But there're not too bad. And warm them up and add some Apricot Preserves and have with cup of decaf.... And they will do. ,-)
Btw, the plates I *did a photo shoot with* (grinnnnn) in my present Header, are my every-day plates. Actually they are my only plates. We use them alllllllllllllll the time. :-)
We still had things left over from storm preparation, and they were cluttering up the kitchen. So I boxed-them. On left is a box of food stuffs. (This box is not all of the storm preparation things. Many went in the pantry.) On right is a box, with some of the emergency things in it. I packed them, and they have been put where they belong. Hooray for us! I packed. He carried. :-)
Then he got polishing the granite island in the kitchen. Will you look at that shine!!!! I took this pic, looking toward door into Den. The light you see reflected, is a little ambiance light on the den wall. If you look closely, you can even see reflection of the flowers, on the Den wallpaper. And the door molding, and the top of my red water glass.... Wow! -grin-
And I took this pic, looking toward the Hearth Room. See the window by the kitchen table, reflected... And the red hanging lamp, over the table... And the dark line, seeming to go from top of lamp, to a dark spot.... That's the reflection of the chain which holds the hanging lamp to the ceiling. Oh and if you look to top right, you can *almost* see reflection of the pumpkin colored Halloween lights, which hang up there.
-chuckle- Now of course, I don't want to USE THE ISLAND!!!! -gigggles-
Anyone want your granite polished??? He'll work cheap. ,-))))

Ahhhh, so he works for the thrill of a job well done or the thrill of a shine.
Yes, it is good that you allowed those final blossoms their chance. I am allowing so many leaves to stay this fall as directed my a gardening buddy of mine. It's the grand experiment.
And my it is looking cheery and bright here...not too dull as mine is looking. I must do something else for my place. It looks about as welcoming as a tomb. =D
by a gardening buddy...gee, it's not even as if "b" and "m" are that close...
I don't have granite, but I have other work that needs to be done.
Gosh the storm did reach you - glad you are okay now.
And I didn't know there was G/F flour.
