What is it? And other random "stuff"...

What is it???

When scratching for posting ideas, fall back on the old tried and true  "What Is It???"  -grin-

Obviously one of those things which caught my eye...  Because it looked PRETTY, to me.  And automatically I thought; "Photo Op"!  ~~~~~~~~  I'll let you Dear Reader, take a guess.  And I'll reveal, tomorrow.

Butt loooook!  Lucky you!  Another "What-Is-It?"   But I won't make you guess, on this one.  It's pretty obviously, a pan of suds.  It's a pan of D*wn suds, soaking the rest of the scrambled eggs off.  I hope...

Ever see that tv add, where the "Ghost Of Meals Past" comes up out of a pan, when a woman opens her cupboard?  Spooky.  And uncomfortable.  'Cause I think everyone had those remainders left in pans, that don't want to be scrubbed out.  Well, I don't remember what product this add is selling (*Bad Add*) but I didn't want the "Ghost Of Meals Past" left in my fry pan.  Sooooo...  Sandra is the one who said that Dawn is great.  So, I am trying it.  :-)

And here we have yet another picture, taken of the same, same, same part of the mantle.  What can I say?  I really don't own a lot, lot, lot of Thanksgiving decorations.  So I'm stuck with repeats.  Bleahhhhh...   And thus, you are stuck with viewing repeats.

But I must come up with some words, to put between my over-and-over-again pic!  SB did a post on Traditions.  And that's a cool idea.  Most everyone has some sort of traditions.  ~~~~~~~~~~~  Ours, in regard to Thanksgiving, are;  Always Turkey!  Always "Pop" makes the Stuffin' for it, no matter at whose home, the dinner is held.   And "Pop" and oldest "Grand" Kate, always make the Newman's Creamed Potatoes.  Always!  :-)

And your Thanksgiving Dinner Traditions, Dear Reader?

OH!  Look!!!  I made this repeat pic blurrrrrry.   So, it's a bit of a change.  Yes?  Yes!  Ding-dang-it, it IS a wee bit of a change, and I'm gonna' stick with that!  ,-))))))))

Butt look!!!  How exciting!!!  A close up of a rip in an old pair of black jeans.  How marvelous?  How very, very exciting???  ~~~~~~  Yeah, it's gonna' be a long, long winter of photos!  A long, boring winter of photos.  -sigh-  -pout-  -moan-

Guess I'm going to have to think up some words to write!  In between the boring photos.

I have to THINK.

Mmmmmmm, that could be *dangerous*.  I know "Uncle A." usually shudders, when I announce that; "I've been thinking......"  -chuckle-

Am I a nerd for saying vitamin E capsules?

Hmmm, I suppose our Thanksgiving tradition is creating a new meal each year.

Sending you hugs!

Vitamin E capsules?

This post proves that anything and everything is blog fodder.

It's not my turn this year for Thanksgiving so I don't have to think about traditions.at.all. We will probably have a roast chicken and pretend it's turkey. I prefer chicken over turkey anyway. This might be a year when Christmas comes early. In fact, I know that Christmas is coming early for one little guy as his aunt thinks he needs Christmas now. =D

Definitely vitamin E or fish oil. You asked about Thanksgiving traditons as well. I absolutely MUST have my creamed onions and turnips. It is a family childhood tradition that I kept, and even though I am the only one that eats them, they are on my table every year.

They are capsules of some oil - vitamin D or E I think.

And you are another great photographer I see - I just really enjoy looking at photos that others take. I really enjoy that.

We usual go see my son and his family in Ohio!

Those are scented capsules, I'm sure of it because I have some too in a jar! You can get different scents and they always smell so nice. Ok so maybe they can be Vitamin E capsules as well! lol

I always enjoy your photos, dear Auntie, no matter if they are repeats:-)

Feels funny for me to be talking about Thanksgiving when we had it in October but our tradition is to always have turkey with all the trimmings:-) xoxo

I LOVE your mantle...and the photographs of it are lovely!!
I agree with the guesses that the dish is filled with Vitamin capsules. I love the way they glisten.
Sending hugs and smiles,

Looks like most people think they are Vitamin capsules.
To me they look like some kind of gel candies. : )

My immediate reaction was cod liver oil capsules.
We don't celebrate thanksgiving and our national day is in February and always tinged with controversy. You have a very busy time from October to Christmas in the USA don't you. It takes my breath away just thinking about it.

I'm guessing Vitamin E capsules or maybe Fish Oil capsules because I take both! When I remember to, that is. Our Thanksgiving will be in Branson again this year. We'll order a turkey meal deal from a grocery store. Not much cooking for me. Yay!!
