♥
'Twas a cold, cold morning. And Wed. night, will be colder.
♥
Btw, above is how it is snowing right now. (4pm, when I composed this)
♥
And above is how "Grand" came over, to have "Pop" pump up a nerf basketball. In Shirt Sleeves!!! I gave him a hug, and *hollered* at him, too. As if that will do any good. :-)))))) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ He's 12 and I'm very careful to only give him a Nana-Hug, when no one outside the family, is around. I've been doing this, for a while. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I hear-tell that his other Grandmother, will plant kisses right on cheeks. Eeeeek! -grin- ♥
♥
Drum Roll, please!!! This above is a seriously wild photo!!! How did I get it? I don't know! -gigggles- Saw sunlight making sparkles, which showed on patio door glass, next to sparkly Valentine wreath. So I had to try to capture them. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Well, of course, they don't look (in the photo) like they looked to me, at that moment. But I think this effect, is one of the most stunningly wild effects, I have ever captured. :-) I am "proud-as-punch"!!!
♥
Tried again, but it came out differently. ,-) And btw, the sparkly Valentine wreath is hanging inside the patio door and window. You see the *jungle* of trees, on the other side of the back fence. Taken through not pristine window glass, of course. But still... *Zoweeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Batman!* ,-)
♥
Trying for early sun, through trees. It's not quite as interesting a shot, as some are, though. But it was ding-dang cold, hanging out the patio door, to even get this!!!!! -chuckle-
♥
And here is another icicle! I took this pic, for my new blogging friend, The Optimistic Existentialist... Who commented that it seems I must live in the "Icicle Capital." -grin- Because of some old pics of *major* icicles, from other years. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Some winters, when we get the perfect set of freeze/thaw/freeze/thaw conditions, there are amazing icicles to be seen in my city. Then, we ride around, and I take pics of the *wildest* of them. Great Photo Ops!

Winter has finally hit over here. I love that photo. Makes me really want to get a camera.

I love that live picture of the snow that you captured. Wow. I really long to be able to look out of my window and see such a scene :)
I am enjoying snow vicariously through your blog :)
So glad that you are still giving hugs even though he is 12. We don't give them hugs because they like it, we give them because they need it. =D
Somewhere along the way, we lost the art of being a huggy family and I do not like it one little bit.
Yes, plenty cold for me. I see you've been playing again! Good!!
Looks like some christmas lights were left out in that other photo, very nice. And yes hate the cold, need to move to bora bora haha
i love that WILD shot with the pink lights, but my most favorite today is the icicle on the post. wow on that one. great shot.... the only ice we see here are the ones in our freezer... and your header has me shivering with cold...we did have to turn on the heat this morning for a few minutes, woke up to 46 brrrr
Brr.. out to the Dr's this am and then back to the house for me. I'm bundled up with mounds of blankets on the couch!
Love seeing your icicles - I liked the older pics too.
Stay warm!

a perfect valentine photo! it sure is cold. i am even cold and that rarely happens. i keep my heat set at 50 and i actually turned it up to 52!!!
In addition to all the fun and wild post photos, what a very lovely header photo! I'm always trying to shoot deer tracks but they don't come out right. Yours are perfect - and I live the streaks of sunlight too.
I think that Arctic weather is headed your way now! Stay warm. :)
We are in the DEPTHs of a deep freeze here...-45 C windchill this am...no school buses running even.....I want SPRING!!!!!
Your photos are very creative and I like them.
Neat photo of the icicle on the fence.
such a cool photo...glad you shared it...sorry your so cold....so glad I live in Texas...
It looks brrry cold to me. LOL I saw a boy around 12 get out of the car here in GA with short sleeves to go to school - I don't think that age feels cold.
It was pretty cold (teens) here this morning. I had to take a kitty to the vet early and it was colder than I like! 'Course anything under 50 degrees is colder than I like. :)
I'm trying to take your advice and rest...as soon as I get a chance. Hope you stay warm and stay well!
Meant to add that I enjoyed your photos, as always!
Wow!! You guys really do have WINTER up there, don't you? In the 70's here in the Houston, Texas area today!
Love your post and all your pretty pictures!
That is a really photo! I really like your blog.

It is so cold here McDonald's is serving coffee on a stick..LOL .It is fun when you develop you photo's and find a happy mistake that is artsy. Most Michiganders run around sweatshirts and sweaters until it gets below 20 degrees out. We keep emergency coats and gloves in the car. :)
