Trying, trying, trying, for lightness...

Wednesday

Snow

Becoming a "Marshmallow Covered World" around my neck of the woods.
(My last Header pic...)

Do you know what 'Tony' said to 'Zeva,' as she was leaving...? (Tues. night NCIS episode)  I've been looking it up on line, and I think it comes down to;  "You are not alone."  Which fits perfectly with her reply.  And which moves this (T and Z) sub-plot along, very nicely.  Imho.

Who sezzzzzz that you can't put these sponges (with a soft scrub side), in a microwave, to eliminate germs?  I did it and it (microwave) didn't spark or flash or sound-unhappy.  :-)  And it's much easier, than boiling, for a minute.

...
It's been snowing all day, Wednesdays.  I've been trying to "catch" falling snowflakes, in photos.  This one, works best...   Earlier, the pics I took, almost looked like falling rain...  :-(

A Question for you, Dear Readers...   Sometimes I have an awful lot of different topics/photos in my blog entries.   Sometimes I only have about 5-6 topics/photos, in my blog entries.

Actually, it seems that most of the blogs I read, have only 1-2 topics covered, in each blog post.  And 1 or 2 or 3 or so photos, in each blog post.

Which, do you prefer to find/read?  Few topics?  Many topics?  Please and thank you.

A January gift  --  To me  --  From me  --  A used copy of Susan Branch's first book...  :-)

"We had mighty good weather
as a general thing, and nothing ever
happened to us at all."  ~Mark Twain

NOT Wednesday's Moon...!!!  But a pretty waxing moon.    We won't see the moon tonight, through all the falling snow.
Know what's sneaking up on us?  On teeny, tiny, tippy toes?   ,-)))))   Sneaking...  Sneaking....  Sneaking...  ,-)))))    Hu?   Hu?   Hu?  Remember!  You saw it here, first!   A Valentine!  2013's first Valentine, in Pretty Blog Land!  :-)

YES!  I am TRYING very hard, to have JOY and PRETTINESS and LIGHTNESS here...  At this time of many calling for national knee-jerk solutions, to real problems.

As far as your question, I (and this is not a cop-out) like both blogging styles. I do like posts that concentrate on 1-2 topics because they make you think, but I also like posts that cover multiple topics because they're more broad-ranging, especially when you cover the multiple points succinctly like you do. My honest opinion is, don't change your blog based on what WE want, blog in a way that makes you happy :) we're not going anywhere.

Each blogger has his or her own style. I like variety in bloggers and do not pay much attention to how a blogger "does it." So do what makes you happy that day

I tried to capture.the moon last night...no go.

Yes, I hear you.

First of all, I love your header quotation regarding arms.
Next...I love your blog. Your readers love your style or we wouldn't be your readers. Don't change a thing. You are great at what you do; if we don't agree, then we won't spend time here.
We're here...and we're not going any old place! :))
I love the photos you have taken around your home. They are so relaxing and wonderful. I especially love the photo you posted today of the snow on the fence. I sigh...and sigh again.
Beautiful, Auntie. Simply beautiful.
Hugs and love,
Jackie

snowing here too, hate driving in the stuff. And yeah go with what best works for your blog, there really is no right or wrong. If you enjoy it, chances are your readers will too.

I'm so glad you found Larainy Days. I love your snow pic. Snow is very sparse here in the Arizona desert.

We're still getting lots of rain here by me.
I don't really have a preference on blogs. All kinds work for me.

I think I have those same block at my house.

i think you should have a book made of all these pics of your hubby and Gabe.. they are wonderful and tell a story..you can make one at walmart.com and they are not that expensive...it would make a great childs book for Gabe.
i say do what you want to your blog and forget what others do or want. i like photos and stories. i just post what i want to post and let each decide to read or not. it is MY blog and yours is YOURS... blog on

Hi Auntie,
Yes that was me on the Susan Branch site. I love her site don't you? I have most of her books, I think my favorite one so far is "GIRLFRIENDS FOREVER". But then the Summer and Autumn books were nice too. Can't wait for her new one to come out.
Yes I have a great interest in how other people live and what their houses look like.

Auntie, I find your blog so interesting and this is because you blog about what you like and enjoy or even about things that don't please you. I visit many blogs with many themes because I enjoy "lots of stuff" myself. I have very eclectic tastes :)

You have done a great job capturing the snowflakes and where else can I visit and see a neat pic of a sponge :D

Blog the way you want to blog...it has been working very well for you. I enjoy it. I like personal blogs such as yours but also like art blogs etc that keep to a theme. I am all over the place with mine. :)
