I hope this prompts you to..... :-)

The latest "Victoria" magazine...

I hope, that by showing you...

...some of the things in this magazine...

...it will prompt you...

...to go buy a copy...

...for yourself.  :-)

I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

There is something-for-everyone, in it.

Some things, which are so beautiful, that they are just-dream-about-things.

And some things, which we could have/do.

And as always, "Victoria" has a lovely last page...  A sweet little memory, all on one page.

Don't forget.  If you missed viewing the Full Strawberry Moon, last night (Sat.)...  It is still FULL today (Sun.).  So you can look for it, again tonight!!!  Don't forget!!!  :-)

3 'Happy's'~~~Thank you~~~"Use it or lose it"~~~

Happy morning Moon...
Happy First of May...
Happy 3rd Birthday, to Gabriel Michael...

Just a silly belly-button picture...  -gigggles-

Just a silly "I covered it up, Nana!" picture.  -more gigggggles-

A pretty alley-view, into a drive-way, up the alley...
Thank you to all the Dear Readers who commented on my post.  Agreeing...  Not agreeing...  Both...  Thankfully, we are still FREE to hold our opinions, and to state our opinions.  It seems very important, to occasionally state our opinions, in order to keep this FREEDOM.  You know what they say:  "Use it or lose it."  I think this applies to more, than just to muscle strength.

I also like to let-it-all-hang-out, now and then...  I like to show that "Auntie" is not just a sweet, little, ol' gal.  (Hehh, I can hear the sniggggering...  When did anyone ever think "Auntie" was just a sweet, little, ol' gal, hu????!!!!???  -chuckle-)  Yeah, well, true...

And perhaps this morning, I have a differing opinion on that "Stop Complaining" manta, too.  Oh I still agree on trying to stop *bitching about* every little (or big) thing that comes-down-the-pike.  Constant whining doesn't help anyone.   But!!!

If we are just mild, quiet, hippity-happy, passive, smiling individuals,  ALL-THE-TIME,......   Isn't that like being drones?  Or serfs?  Or subjects?  Or ....  You fill in the blanks.  There is a time and a place for Passion, and for Strong Views, and for being willing to rock the boat.  "Auntie" sezzzzzzzz....  How about you??????

So, how is this "FWM" going, for you...? ,-)

I have a pretty hurricane *oil* lamp, which I was going to take a picture of...   The pic above, is what's left of it...  :-(

Moving the lamp around, on the nubby table cloth, it tipped, and the thin glass chimney broke.  See it, above.  ~~~~~~~~  Just another of the "Full Wolf Moon Effects" around here.  ~~~~~~~   So instead of a pic of my pretty lamp, in my Header...  I have just the top.  Yishhhhhh...

HAPPY  FULL  WOLF  MOON...!

I have no idea, what made these tracks.  But since I'm frustrated with trying to show snow sparkles, I put this pic up again.  -pout-

Please be sure to tell me, if this Full Wolf Moon has been having adverse *effects,* around you too.  "Misery loves company", as they say.    Repeat  Yishhhhhhhhhhh...

Calling all we "Photo-Op-Obsessed" bloggers !!!!!!!!!!!!  -grin-  You know who you are!   Did you know that Susan Branch, is one of us too?!?   I got such a kick out of a post of hers...   A friend came over and her scarf got caught in her jacket zipper.  And she was having an awful time, extracting herself, from the jacket, etc.

So what did Susan do?  She grabbed her camera and took pics of her friend...  They both laughed themselves silly, and the friend finally got out of her jacket.  But I had to love it!  Even famous bloggers, are  "Photo-Op-Obsessed" bloggers!

The link!  The link!  The link!
Scroll down, for the pics of her friend...

I grabbed this cute little sign, for my Sidebar.  Because for sure, I Blog Gluten-Free.  :-)  And live thus.  Because there is NOTHING one can take, to help to eat even a LITTLE Gluten, if one is like me.

Speaking of G/F, I just made some G/F Cornbread, for us to have with our usual Friday omelets.   An omelet is simple/quick for him to make, when he gets home from work.   And it's light and meat free.  But still has protein.

This is my dinky-little-'ol Cornbread.  But please pop over, to see a Cornbread, which you will CRY FOR!  :-)  Joyce make her "Sweet Moist Jalapeno Cornbread", to take to feed the homeless at the homeless shelter, and (click on the following)   it is gorgeous/fantastic.

Please say hi to her, and tell her that "Auntie" sent you!!!

WaRnInG!! "Danger, Will Robinson!" ,-)

Yes, I'm playing again, with my camera, and with sunlight and shadows.  :-)

Full Wolf Moon is this Saturday!  Now I love Full Moons.  And I especially love the Full Wolf Moon, because I'm fascinated with wolves.  But.......

Already, this Full Moon is having not-so-good-Full-Moon-Effects here.  -sigh-  -moan-   Twice, I have scared-myself-silly, by making changes, on my computer.  It was as if a little "Imp" was sitting on my shoulder...  Whispering into my ear;  "Go ahead!  Make that click!  It will be ok!"   And whispering; "Wow, those Delete History/Cache Settings look funny.  Better change them."

The first one turned out to be ok, after all.  But I still spent a night, kinda' worrying about it.  'Till my Personal Computer Geek could "talk me down off the ceiling," about it.   -sigh-
But the second "Little Imp" prompting,  is not all-ok yet!!!!!!  At this moment, I still have to wait till later, when my Personal Computer Geek will be home from work, and able to advise me (via the Net), on WHICH "Delete History/Cache" Settings I SHOULD have on.  -sigh-

OH and!  Another possible Full Wolf Moon Effect!!!!  In this week of very cold temps, my outdoor part of my temperature thingy, quit.  And even "Uncle A." who can fix most anything, can't fix this.  So, just when I really enjoy checking the Low Temps Outside....  The ding-dang-thing quits!  Doesn't that sound like another icky Full Wolf Moon Effect?!?!?!
The only good thing is...  If the old Wive's Tale of "Things Coming In 3's" holds...  I have already had, my 3 icky Full Wolf Moon Effects.

BE WARNED!!!  Don't tell me I didn't warn you!  Be on the watch for possible Icky Full Wolf Moon Effects!!!
My Duty here, as been done!!!!!!!!!

Trying to show some sparkles.  But not doing so well....  Oh well...  :-)  Please believe me, the sun on this cold, cold snow, is sparkly and lovely.

Trying, trying, trying, for lightness...

Wednesday

Snow

Becoming a "Marshmallow Covered World" around my neck of the woods.
(My last Header pic...)

Do you know what 'Tony' said to 'Zeva,' as she was leaving...? (Tues. night NCIS episode)  I've been looking it up on line, and I think it comes down to;  "You are not alone."  Which fits perfectly with her reply.  And which moves this (T and Z) sub-plot along, very nicely.  Imho.

Who sezzzzzz that you can't put these sponges (with a soft scrub side), in a microwave, to eliminate germs?  I did it and it (microwave) didn't spark or flash or sound-unhappy.  :-)  And it's much easier, than boiling, for a minute.

...
It's been snowing all day, Wednesdays.  I've been trying to "catch" falling snowflakes, in photos.  This one, works best...   Earlier, the pics I took, almost looked like falling rain...  :-(

A Question for you, Dear Readers...   Sometimes I have an awful lot of different topics/photos in my blog entries.   Sometimes I only have about 5-6 topics/photos, in my blog entries.

Actually, it seems that most of the blogs I read, have only 1-2 topics covered, in each blog post.  And 1 or 2 or 3 or so photos, in each blog post.

Which, do you prefer to find/read?  Few topics?  Many topics?  Please and thank you.
♥
A January gift  --  To me  --  From me  --  A used copy of Susan Branch's first book...  :-)

"We had mighty good weather
as a general thing, and nothing ever
happened to us at all."  ~Mark Twain

NOT Wednesday's Moon...!!!  But a pretty waxing moon.    We won't see the moon tonight, through all the falling snow.
Know what's sneaking up on us?  On teeny, tiny, tippy toes?   ,-)))))   Sneaking...  Sneaking....  Sneaking...  ,-)))))    Hu?   Hu?   Hu?  Remember!  You saw it here, first!   A Valentine!  2013's first Valentine, in Pretty Blog Land!  :-)

YES!  I am TRYING very hard, to have JOY and PRETTINESS and LIGHTNESS here...  At this time of many calling for national knee-jerk solutions, to real problems.

Icicles.... And Fantasy.........

It's that time of year again, when we can watch icicles grow.  And grow.  And grow.  And grow.  'Twas 2 degrees outside, when I opened my patio door, to get this shot.   It had probably been colder, during the night.

And there is a pretty wee little moon, peeking out from among the bare branches...  I'm not that great with moon-shots, but it's still kind-of pretty.  :-)

I was happy to find that on Susan Branch's Calendar, she shows us the Full Moon date.  (1/26 for this month)  And she even names the Full Moons!  Super!  I drew the little Moon, myself.  :-)

I love, love, love this illustration.  And don't know where I originally found it.  -sigh-  It has so much contained within it.  Books, books, books.  Old books.  A Dragon.  Water-coloring being done by a little girl.  Who sits atop the head of the *long-suffering* Dragon.  !!!!!!!!!!!  I want to be that lucky little girl!

Actually, I'd settle for being me, as long as I could pop into that painting....  Have access to those Old Books...  Paint...  But mostly!  Mostly!  Mostly!  Have a Dragon for a Friend!!!!  The last is the most important!!!  To know a Dragon!  :-)

Even if you aren't *into* making friends with a Dragon, who could be afraid of this particular one?  Who could?  He is simply precious.

*In-fancy*, I could begin, with getting to know him.  And then move on, to knowing more fierce kinds of Dragons.  And on to flying on a Dragon.  If one is going to fly on a Dragon, the Dragon might just as well be rather fierce looking.  It certainly adds to the entire "fancy."  ;-)

-sigh-  But I have to come back down to earth.  -pout-  I'm not lucky enough, to conjure up a real Dragon.  Not even a friendly one.......  -sigh-

if you live near him."
