WARNING! *Brightness* ahead...!!! ,-)

"One morning we ran into a neighbor at the store
and she asked brightly, 'What was it at your house?'
'Fourteen below' we replied.
Her face fell.
'We had minus twelve,' she said,
and you could see that her day was ruined."
~Richard Ketchum

Remember I said I had the book "The Weird Sisters" out of the library?  Well, I never got totally through it.  :-(   The main characters were a mother/father/3 siblings.  Each of the 3 sisters was weird, in her own way.  Extreemly irritating, to say the least.  The father was very irritating, in his own way.  And the mother was terribly sick.    Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...   Funnnnn, hu?   NOT!

So, after wasting time reading in that one, I moved on to one of the fun books.   One of the "Her Royal Spyness" Mysteries.  This is being fun!  And I have more, of the same group of Mysteries, coming from the library.

And I took a really heavy book back.   Heavy, in that it has lots of pages.  But more heavy, in that I know the thrust of the plot.  I read the first book, and I know that this one will be wildddddd too.  I just don't feel like jumping into that kind of a book, right now.   I can always go back later, and get any book out again.

"The Old Parsonage" blog has a super entry, about books.  I don't know HOW I have missed, her first suggestion!!!!   But I have it coming, from my library, now.  :-)

And I am SO enjoying the fact that 3 of us now, have found Susanna Kearsley's books!!!  I think that is absolutely delightful...  :-)

Come on Dear Readers.  If you have never tried reading one of Susanna Kearsley's books, you now have 3 recommendations.  :-)))

Oooops!  The link to this great blog entry...   Click right here...

Hmmmmmmmm, hope I have not given you a headache, with my "Playing With My Camera" photos, here.  -grin-   Oh my but I am having fun!!!

Yes, I'll try to go back to more normal photos, next time.  Too much of red sparkles and etc., could be.................  *Upsetting*....  :-)

Fireworks! Love the brightness and the warmth!

Yup. That quote is true as true can be. Our temps hover just below zero while just out of town the temps have been much lower. I thrill myself by thinking that Mt. Washington was -74.

I was surprised that the libraries here only have two of Kearsley's books. I'll have to look for them at a couple of used book stores that I visit.

Love your warm photos. And that quote made me laugh...so true! It reminded me of my aunt who loves to brag on her granddaughter. I was telling her about my son's new job and she starts going on and on about Maria. It's soooo tiresome!

I'll have to check out your book recommendation. Thanks!

Have a warm and cozy weekend!

Seeing the fun you have on your blog and listening to the time you have to read lots of books make me stop to appreciate my current life.

Why? Because when I think that I can't wait to have the time to do what you do, I realize that that would be rushing my life away, sooo... I think of the good things happening with me now and tell myself that there will be times later for reading more books and blogging more.

I hope that made sense.

Keep enjoying what you're doing.
