Thank you very much, to all Dear Readers, who took the time to answer my question... I guess we laid that blogging issue, to rest. For our group of bloggers, at least. Most do not require that a Reader/Commenter have a blog. Just have a Profile, in Blogger.
And might I add, have a e-mail addy, on that Profile Page. So that one can make contact with the Commenter, if wished...

I am contemplating, not blogging in such a regular way, for a bit. Sometimes, blogging gets to feeling like a "job". Blogging can begin to feel like having a daily dead-line... To get one's thoughts/photos up and published, for the day. And dead-lines, do take some fun out of anything, for me.
Now, of course!!! I may well continue to blog, in my same way... Daily, daily, daily... Nothing like making-a-statement, to "take-the-wind-out" of an idea/possibility. -grin-
But if I do change my blogging pattern, I don't want anyone to worry about a day missed, here or there. In other words, I don't want any Dear Reader to react to a missed day, on a usually daily blog, with "fear" and "trembling" and "worry." That is what I do! Don't want you to!!! :-)

We're a bit too
quick to come up with explanations
for things we don't really have an
explanation for.”

Finished a non-fiction book... Enjoyed it enough, to want more, by this author. See more about it, by clicking "Auntie's Reads 2013"...

that blinds shadow show is AWESOME... you sound just like me. i was feeling the same way, the job and deadline was killing me, gotta comment gotta post gotta edit. since i posted my statement i would not be on here every day... i think i might have missed 2 days... but i have taken the job out of blogging by my statement and now i don't feel that way anymore
I love your shadow photos, Auntie...they are always so interesting!
Blog as you want to, when you want to. I know there are days it can feel like an obligation, but as long as I have even a few (which is all I do have :), blogging friends, like you, I will blog daily ,or not, as each morning rolls around :D
Hugs,
Jan
I can definitely see how blogging every day would become difficult. I blog every third day since my brain is not creative enough to blog daily :)
Okay, I will not worry. Have you noticed how erratic my blogging schedule is in the last month? That's what life without Site Meter will do for a gal. Now I don't know what time of day my readers find me and it doesn't seem to matter much.
Ohhh...now that book does look fascinating. The human brain is designed to make connections so I imagine we make a lot of false ones. Glad that you have one location where I can find these books you're reading easily.
Are you in the storm's path?
That is why I began taking the weekends away from blogging. As you know, I have quite a few blogs and for awhile I was trying to keep every one of them going every day of the week. Way too much. I've cut back a lot.

Thanks for the heads up sweet friend. We're supposed to get rain from the storm, but I'm not counting on their predictions - they have been soo off this winter.
I so agree should be fun not a chore...I wish everyone would make it easy to comment back on their comments...but I guess some just don't want to be communicated back with...but then they ask questions..so you would think they would want you to be able to answer them...
blog as you will! don't feel pressure.
Yeah when it i a chore it is a pain. I haven't written a new post in a week lol, but still am good until May. If you want to post everyday, just get a bunch ready and then some days you can say what the hey.
I began doing what you are anticipating doing. I used to try and blog every day...and if I feel so inclined, I still do; I rarely feeling so inclined! :))
Thank you for giving me a heads up, though. I'm like you...a worrier, and I would have worried about you.
Enjoy your blog... I enjoy it!
Hugs and love,
Jackie
I'm glad you gave us a heads-up. I would have worried because you post every day. Those like myself who don't post as often, I don't worry much about. There are those who take weeks off and I really worry about them! Isn't it funny that as soon as we say we're not going to do something, then the pressure is off and we do it anyway?
Have a nice weekend! (from your blog friend who seldom posts on weekends.)
I find blogging - and daily blogging usually - is something I do for ME. I find it a comforting daily discipline to put my day in order. Everyone blogs for different reasons and in different manners. However, unless you get PAID to do it as a professional - it should never feel like a JOB! It's my daily time with MYSELF and I love it! I read blogs for my pleasure/relaxing time. Sometimes I miss a few days but it is not a JOB I feel I HAVE to do!
Just follow your heart and do what you feel like doing! Your readers will always be here.....waiting....and waiting....and waiting!! But no pressure! We will just wait....and wonder...and wait.....
(just teasing you!)
To me Blogging is to enjoy, not a deadline to be done by. So I agree with you that if you feel it is becoming a chore and a have to do, don't. At least not as often as you usually do. We'll just keep enjoying you when you pop up.
blessings,
Diana
Go with your feelings....if it becomes a burden/job you need to take a break. You could always just post a shadow a day for awhile.....they are my favorite.:)
Auntie, listen to that little voice inside your head and don't place unnecessary pressure on yourself. If you are feeling under the gun to post or stretching for content, give yourself permission to enjoy time off as needed. TOTALLY GUILT FREE!!! If posting becomes a burden rather than a pleasure, people can usually pick-up on this.
As someone who appreciates & thoroughly enjoys your blog, I would rather you posted less often, rather than have you totally burn out and chuck the blog altogether.
Don't fret about posting daily. It means you have more in your life and can't fit it all in or you just need a break. I blog when I can. Daily happenings,Job and life keep me from blogging every day.
Do what feels right to you. We'll be here waiting for that post. :o)
