March 29th...

I  ♥  my

Yes, Gabe keeps getting his hair trimmed.  And yes, his curls are about gone.  But I'm still happy, because the front, is not hanging in his eyes.  And he looks-like-a-little-boy.  :-)  And I still have the pics of him, with the golden curls!!!  :-)

Waiting in the car, I noticed these garage doors.  To me, they look as if *they have seen better days*.  As if they need a lot of work.  Or rather, the barn needs work.  Since it seems to have "settled."  ,-)

On kind of wonders, why post on a "Big Weekend," like this???  A lot of people in Pretty Blog Land, are preparing for a big celebration.  One way or another.  And they have too much to do, to bother with blogging.

But then, not everyone is preparing for a big celebration of Easter.  I'm not, for one.  And I betcha' I'm not the ONLY one, who isn't.  With this kind of a religious Holiday celebration, most people may just kind of go-along-with-the-flow.  I do, in as much as I hope all who believe in Easter, very much enjoy the celebration of it.

Basically, whatever your choice of activity, this weekend, I hope you enjoy it.

I don't believe that I've ever been aware that such a classic old red barn was right next door or perhaps it is not right next door just because you were waiting in the car doesn't mean that. See how people can leap to conclusions on such flimsy pieces of evidence?

I really like this foreshadowing of April showers in your blog. Very sweet. I want to get out my crayons and color that little girl and give her a bright yellow slicker and rain hat and a pink umbrella and fancy up her boots like they do now...something Cath Kidstone-ish. And the tulips...must not forget the tulips.

You got it right about everyone having something to do or so many of us. I'm making a new table runner with some soft spring colors and had to take a break. My brain can only think so long, which accounts for this silly response in your blog.

Have a good weekend in the bosom of your family!

Auntie, I can see that you love your dragon very much...he is very lovable :)

We do celebrate Easter in our family. This year it is my oldest daughter that is having the family over for dinner. Not your regular "ham" dinner...but a dish called "Bubble and Squeak", a cabbage, ham and pototo dish :)

You always take such interesting photos...

my mom always talks about my brothers curls when he was young ... now my bro is pretty much bald. so i guess you should enjoy the curls while they are around. ha. ha!! you never know when they might disappear. ha. ha!!

are you going to watch "The Host"? i wonder if i can get over "Twilight" series & movie on. i may need some help with that. ha. ha!!

big big hugs, Auntie. ( :

Auntie, It would be nice if the owners of the red barn took the money to fix it up...it would be way cheaper and they get to keep the character. I love the little umbrella scenes on your blog. Happy Easter to all of you. xoxo,Susie

Personally I celebrate the Christian Easter and it's meaning. I am not much for the Easter bunny unless it is the chocolate one :) Have a Happy Easter weekend. Dee

I love the barn red color. There is an oil paint called exactly that!

I am taking a little break from packing up the camper. Taking down all the pictures and stuff that would fall off as we haul it back home. Kind of a peaceful day actually. We will take one last dip in the pool and soak in the hot tub in a little bit.

We do celebrate Easter. Not with so much activity this year but definitely with gratitude of the heart.

Your background reminds me that April showers are coming...and with them come May flowers. Lovely background.
I wish you much joy and many blessings as we celebrate this Easter weekend.

I'm cooking dinner for our family to celebrate the coming of spring and the Easter Bunny, no calorie chocolate, did you know that Easter chocolate has no calories!

I'm not doing anything special. Sunday will be pretty much like other Sundays. Walking, church and a nice afternoon. : )

We usually go to my daughter's in San Antonio for Easter. It's so pretty out there in the hill country. But this year DH and I decided to stay home and have some quiet time.

We celebrate both the real meaning of Easter as well as the bunny one (definitely chocolate included!). It's a wonderful time of year...

Plenty of point in blogging at Easter, unless you only blog for 'visits', and I know you don't. No more do I, and I posted yesterday and probably will tomorrow!

That barn is incredible!!

Have a lovely weekend whatever you do with it :D
