The morning after...

We had the new Fresh Fish Market, in town, make us delicious Lobster Newburg Dinners, with mashed potatoes and asparagus.   The Lobster Newburg was served in lobster shells, which made quite an interesting presentation.

The chef there, knew about my "can't have gluten," so I didn't have to worry about that issue.

Of course, there was plenty of cream and butter, to wreck havoc with my inability to digest Lactose but....  :-)  It WAS a Big Birthday.  ,-)

And a bottle of Champagne, of course!

Trouble was, when I had Champagne with a Sherry chaser......    Mmmmmm.........   Guess I can't "drink with the big boys", like THAT, any more.  LOL!!!  So far today, and it's 1PM by the time I am writing this, I've had a cup of decaf, some Ginger Ale and 2 tortillas.   -chuckle-  "Olden" tummy just doesn't want to "handle" any more than that, so far.

Btw, I know there are bloggers who are older than I am, and on the Net.  But I betcha' that, of "My Little Posse" of blogging pals, I'm the OLDEST!  Yes?  No?  Maybe?

And now......  1PM......  It's time for me to take, my 4th nap of the day.  :-))))

Auntie, That was a nice Birthday dinner. Gluten free isn't always easy. I know a young lady who trys her best.
You said you also had a bad back in your comment to my site...the chiropracter says to stretch like a runner would before doing any chores. I hope I remember. xoxo,Susie

Ohhh, the meal looks scrumptious!! Sounds like a wonderful birthday dinner.
I'm 67. Or as I sometimes say...39 plus 28 years I'd like to erase. Ha ha. (I'd settle for erasing the last 4 plus years, if you know what I mean!!)

You are so funny!!! It was a lovely dinner! I know you 'paid' for it though!
Have you heard the latest they are saying about age? The report is that 72 is the NEW 30! I don't actually believe it but it IS nice to hear it said in the news reports. Louis Dean is 77 this year and I will be 65! YEA! I never dreamed I would be excited about being 65 but I AM!

My gosh that dinner looks absolutely fabulous! I love seafood - especially lobster. Have only had it once in my life though. And what's this I hear about age? It's just a state of mind? Right?? :)

Mmm...mmmm...mmmm

Age is relevant - to me we're all friends and that's what matters.
