"Blast From The Past"... Gabriel Michael... June 2010...
Another "Blast From The Past"... Gabriel Michael... September 2010...
Back, when I wanted his hair to be trimmed...
Friday night dinner... Greens - Hard cooked eggs - apple slices - Raisins - Nuts
I had this ready, when he came home from working at the store. Instead of having him have to do scrambled eggs, after coming home. -grin- Yes Folks, I spent hours, over a hot stove, preparing this meal!!! LOL!!!
Another sure sign of Spring!!! Next-door-son's-back-porch is open for use. And the kitties are using it.
You can see black/and/white "BK," on the left of the pic. And all-black "Lucky," is more to the right... "Lucky" is prettily back-lit, by the evening sun...
Our temps are supposed to be warming up. So today, "Uncle A." has to complete his seed-planting-preparations. He's getting lots of little "containers," to put them in. If it stayed cold, he was going to put them up-stairs, in a dormer window, which has a ledge, and gets all-afternoon-sun. But if it's warming well, he can set up his kind-of-a-green-house-effect thing, on his potting table.
YES! I know!! There are *such things* as plants, which can be purchased. ,-) But he's been really into growing his own seeds, for a while now. :-))))

me to me to on the would be a gardening granny if i had that bonnet. LOL.. no wonder Gabe is a beautiful 3 year old, he was a gorgeous baby... he is truly a doll baby. the dinner looks delish and that is the kind of slaving in the kitchen i like best. my problem is, bob can't eat apples or nuts but i sure can.
Cute baby indeed he was and love the kitties just staring away.
My grandma made bonnets like that all the time; she used a newspaper for her pattern and wore them when she was gardening or fishing. I wish I had one of them today.
Lovely photos....
Happy spring, my friend.
Hugs,
J.

That salad looks delicious! I am REALLY watching what I eat and am giving up my wine until I lose the extra weight I suddenly discovered! UGH!! The older we get the LESS we need to eat to remain the same weight. Not fair, I say!!

Gabe has definitely been my favorite baby - he's aptly named - Gabriel - always looked like a little angel - and I LOVED his curly hair!
Cute little gardening granny pic! My grandmothers had bonnets like that!
Love that salad!
Sweet photos of Gabe! He is so adorable.
Your granny-in-a-bonnet could be my grandmother. She loved to garden and wore a bonnet like that. I miss her, she was a sweet grandmother.
My grandmother wore bonnets like that when she was outside. I even bought one for my daughter when we were in Canton Texas at the big Flea market when she was 9 months old. She was so cute.
Now give yourself some credit for that salad... it took time to cut and slice and plate. ;o)
