Slowly......... Slowly......... Slowly.........
Returning "Auntie sezzzzzz..." blog, to more usual stuff...
I've devoted too much time, to paying attention to those &%(*&%^*^$$^% scum-bags, in the news.
:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:
:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:
BUT!!!
Our various government parts, continue to act like "the 3 stooges"... Jumping to conclusions of no-foreign-influence, with the Boston Bombing scum-bags... Desire for Political Correctness, keeping Administration from saying that America is facing a jihadist enemy...
Grabbing an innocent man, for the Ricin poison mailings... Deleting *un-liked* stuff, from public information, concerning the Benghazi attack and massacre... Napolitano and FBI can't get their stories-straight...
It's pathetic...
Our Beloved Country is being run, and taken care of by....
Well, you fill in the blank.
:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:
But, to dwell too long, in "The Land Of News," is simply bad for my health. My body tells me so. And I do try to listen to my body. So......................... Back to more normalcy....
This is a pile of books, which I have not read cover-to-cover. So I can't count them, in my *official* "Auntie's Reads 2013" count. But I have read them, here-and-there. Reading what I wanted and skimming over other pages...
I've had them out of the library. And I've been spending time, with them. So it seemed ok, to at least picture them, and say about the "skimming." Books-to-skim have their place in reading too. In fact, they can be relaxing. :-)

Ahhhhhhhhhh but! "A Hat Full of Sky," is not a to-be-skimmed book! 'Tis a book to be enjoyed!!! Fully. And being the 2nd in a Series, I have 2 more to enjoy yet. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... You can read more, by clicking here and going to "Auntie's Reads 2013" blog... :-))))

totally awesome photos of your two boys... i love the one in the header, and i can see they are both so happy to have each other to play with.
Good Morning, Auntie!
I always enjoy your photos of Gabe and Uncle A. playing together with those wonderful toys that Uncle A. makes :)
I also have many books that I will never read cover-to-cover. I use them as kind of a reference for things that interest me.
Sending you happy thoughts and good feelings with a hug...
Jan
Getting back on track, at your shack. Ans stories will never be straight all have their own agenda

Love the header Auntie!

auntie, we have to live our lifes as best as we can...or we will be nuts, trying to figure our governemnt out. where are the men like our founding fathers? i love the pictures of uncle and the little guy. enjoy today. xoxo, susie
Interesting list of books. I, too, have many that are made more for skimming than reading. Every time I see a picture of Gabe, I can't believe how fast he is growing.

Now see how calming an influence a photo of a dear Grandpa with his grandson can be? You have done your part today...in spades. Courage!
We are really enjoying our limited TV! No cable - only a couple of regular channels and a local weather station. No news programs all day long (LD was becoming addicted to Fox News!) We actually LIVE more of our own life instead of watching all the blood and gore of TV shows and hearing all the doom and gloom of the news networks. I do miss the cable a little bit at times. I admit it! Saturday we are keeping the quads at their apt and we are going to WATCH TV as our entertainment after the babies go to bed. Amazing how we are looking forward to that! A little TV goes a long way, though!
I'm beginning to think I'd feel better if I didn't read the news online. I refuse to watch the non-stop news on tv. I just get so angry and frustrated, that I'm sure my blood pressure soars. I'm better off focusing on what is good and lovely...enjoying today and not thinking about how those id**ts are running our country. At least, I'm gonna try. Sigh.
Sweet pics of Gabe playing with Grandpa! Give the little cutie a hug from me.
I always love to see photos of your Grand...beautiful young man, he is.
And...we can't bury our head in the sand and pretend that these things aren't happening in our country. So, I'm glad that you shared your views and opinions with us. One of the other things that we can do that matters is to vote. We cannot be silent...
There's something to be said for no TV and only an hour of radio a day.... :)
You can certainly skim "In Defense of Food". Probably the best bits are: 1) the comments on reductionist science with reference to supplements, and 2) the mantra (eat real food, not too much, mostly plants).
Enjoy that adorable little guy!
Nice to see the pictures of Gabe and Uncle. : )
Gabe and uncle always makes me smile. That is what life is all about...loving the grands. I try to take one day at a time...each day has new mercies.
I have to chime in and say I really like your shot of Gabriel and his Grandpa
