Day #12~~~New, *magic pills*~~~And *magic elixir*~~~

(Neighborhood Kitty...)
Let's see.  This is Day #12 of the "Cold From Hell."  On Day #5, got "Z-Pack" and took it.  Didn't work.    Day #11, my doc gave me Rx's for 2 different day-time *magic pills*, and 1 night time *magic elixir*.

(Hopping around yard, trying to pounce on whatever insect, she could see...)
And he said, to come back to see him in a week, and that; I WILL  BE BETTER THEN!  Guess Paul can recognize a kinda' depressed/grumpy little ole lady.  So he added the Personal Order!  :-)))))

(Sick and "stuck" in my recliner, this view looked very pretty, to me.  It's not so grand, later.  But...  :-) )
So far, the *Magic Pills* and the *Magic Elixir* have been working wonderfully.
~~~~~~~
It's common knowledge that it takes more meds, to knock out lots of "bugs" now.  I wonder?  Could this have to do, with all the antibiotics fed to the meat, which we consume???????  Well, we don't eat that kind of meat, any more, here.  But we did, for years and years and years.
Are you still doing so?
We don't buy any special food that would add more to the grocery bill than we are already paying. Guess that we'll take our chances. Sigh. Hope that you are now feeling mucho betterer. It is a lovely view. I can see why you were charmed.
this is good news the two magic meds are working... 12 days of being sick is just 'sickening' SORRY, trying to put a little ha ha in here. love the KITTY view you have out your window.
we don't eat meat hardly at all, and even when we were 7 years ago, only very little. i just don't care for meat, although i do love a good hamburger. i buy ground turkey that SAYS it has no additives or antibiotics, but do i believe it? nope...
Auntie, It is too mind boggling to think about...the "stuff" fed to or added to our food products. Something very scary going on there. We may have to go back to some of the back woods doctoring, to take care of ourselves...eat right do right.I will pray for you to be well soon.xoxo, Susie
Glad to hear something is finally working for you. I think it has more to do with the way we abused antibiodics in the past, before we knew what we wee doing. Doctor's were so free to write out prescriptions for just about everything. And now our bodies have become immune.
Cat loos to be having fun and yeah it is to do with all the antibotic crap. In meat, soap, etc. Your body becomes used to it and so does the bugs.
ZPacks are Garbage! Dangerous as well! Surveys taken have shown 29 killed with heart attacks by using them. GLAD you are off them!
Stick to the old faithfuls like Amoxicillon or erithromycin.
Glad you are getting better!
Glad to hear you are getting a better.
I don't really eat much meat. So far I'm a pretty quick healer when I'm sick - thank goodness!!
I don't take medicine either but just let a cold take its course.
Sure hope you keep feeling better, Auntie.
I'm sorry you've been under the weather for so long! Hope you're over the hump and on the way to feeling good again.
I used to take garlic tablets and never had a cold. I quit taking them, but need to start back up as they seemed to keep the bugs at bay and why I stopped, I don't know. An much older than me friend was very healthy up until she was 90 said she attributed her good health to eating garlic and onions. So, who knows?
Glad you have such a pretty view to enjoy while you're recuperating! Take care!
I'm glad your magic meds are making you more comfortable.
It is scary what they are doing to our food chain. I can't afford to buy organic, but I have gone almost vegetarian; I do eat wild caught fish, though; Cage free eggs by happy hens. I try to pay attention. Yes, I do believe our health and resistance to antibiotics is directly related to what is being done to our meat/food.
Monsanto is run by the devil himself.
The husband loves his red meat. With my meds I'm not much on meat period which drives him crazy. I'll eat the veggies and fruit and I'm okay. Never thought that would happen to me because I do love a good steak or pork chop but after about 3-4 bites I'm done.
