SUN!!!~~~Paleo Baking~~~More sun~~~Books~~~Etc.

Is this frog smiling??????  He ought to be.  We've had so much rain!

When the sun came out on Tues., evening, I had to take pics of it!!!!

Look at that!  Real sun!  Shining into my camera!

And this picture.  Complete with sun spots!!!!

My G/F and sugar free bread... Made in a bunt pan.

And here it is, turned over, with an orange glaze on it.  It makes a very moist and good nutty bread.  ~~~~~   Took some next door.  Per usual, "Gabe" loved it.  ~~~~~     Mommy and "Gabe" just came over for a short visit, and I gave them more.  If a 3 year old likes it, it has passed THE  TEST!  -grin-

More sun-after-rain pictures...

Everything looks just beautiful....

Reflection, of the wild roses, in the pool...

Longer shot...

Do you see that spot of Red?  It's a Cardinal, on a green  branch, against the over-cast sky.

Cropped...

 More cropped...  -grin-

NOT  my  PIC!!!!!!  :-)
But wow!  Anyone who thinks eating Paleo, has to be Icky, well.....  Just look at that pic, above.  :-)

It's a Gluten-Free recipe; Rhubarb Coconut Honey Tart...  Found on "The Kitchen" blog.  Please click here, to go see the entry, in all its *glory.*  :-)
:-)

I enjoyed my 36th book, this year!  I enjoyed "A Killer Read" to pieces!  A cozy mystery of course.  The heroine, the setting, the mystery itself, all of it....  I loved it!  And want to read the 2nd book in this Series.

If you enjoy a Cozy, please, please, please find this book and enjoy it.

By clicking here, you can read more about it, at my "Auntie's Reads 2013" blog.

I'm definitely going to check out the cozy, "A Killer Read". I love cozy mysteries and have read most of them. The last *new* one I enjoyed was "Buried in a Blog" - waiting for the 2nd book to come out.

As for Paleo, my daughter has been on it for the last several years. She also does BootCamp several times a week. Child is healthy, skinny, and strong...

Some very pretty, artful shots you've been taking of late. Love the cardinal! Looks like a Christmas card or something. So what's it doing now? Rain or shine? We have sun for a little while at least. I've been outside weeding and repotting and am now supposed to be working on the kitchen, but instead I'm doing the obvious. Sigh.

Oh that bread looks so good and I like that it's made in a bunt pan.

Love the cardinal picture. They stand out in any season. So pretty!!

Everything always seem extra green after lots of rain.
We've had rain, sun and some bad storms are on the way here in Md later today.

Beautiful pictures. The sun came out for a short tease yesterday, but quickly went away. Now, we are back to the rain.

All that rain made for a very lush landscape!! Loved seeing the cardinal! Your photos always make me feel as if I am visiting you! Seeing what YOU see! It is hot in Texas - which is normal for this time of year! 15 minutes working outside and sweat is running into my eyes! We keep coming inside to the A/C and drinking a glass of ice water before going out again. I could hire a full time yard guy and I don't believe everything would get done in a month!

Sure is a nice change from all those ice photo's from a few months ago. The sun is playing peekaboo around here. By the time I see it..then it is gone. The book sounds interesting...I need to find a nice book series to get involved in. I always liked getting excited to read the next.

Paleo - I had to Google it. Guess that means you know who is not eating that way. :)

I love cardinals - my state's bird. I hope to get a bird feeder really soon and catch a few pics too.
